Saw what you will about Bush. I've watched a bunch of these medal of honor ceremonies. His was the most heartfelt and sincere. He literally shed tears.

Petty Officer Monsoor was killed at Ramadi. Ramadi was worse than Fallujah, but Fallujah got all the press coverage, because it was closer to Baghdad than Ramadi. (Baghdad was where they could upload their videos that would be broadcast on TV.)
Ramadi was where my son, MOS 11-Bravo, (infantry) spent his only tour in Iraq. He told me some real horror stories of his year (about April ‘05-April’06) there.
Many made it home to deal with PTSD. Some didn’t have to live with that curse. Others lost their lives in Ramadi. And the others, the ones we call HEROES, willingly chose to die so others could live.
Petty Officer Monsoor, a grateful nation thanks you and honors you for your sacrifice.
    Anchors Aweigh!

Watched this Multiple times and still can't say for sure if the president's reaction was rooted in his background in the service or a firm conviction about the cause. Still, one thing is for certain he was in that moment as human as anyone in the room and that was very touching!

Our country is quickly being turned into a sickening sespool of wickedness of self loathing, entitled, narcicistic corruption. The unGodly fodder that infect our communities, that go above and beyond to spill evil and chaos among innocent law abiding citizens. They're not worthy to even tread on the adjoining soil of the country that Michael Monsoor and so many others have sacrificed everything for.

Roos- Nam. Mike Mansoor. He was Navy seal assigned to me. Mike was able to figure out almost immediately the Navy seals were assigned incorrectly- he knew that they were not the garden of eaden- nor should they have been pretending to be. He lost his life almost immediately- he was to smart and to honorable to sit by and prefrom acts that some in the Navy were requested to prefrom. Forced to work in the mind- sometimes on earth, you need to make a choice.

I think they wouldn't ID those in attendance and those he saved that day cause they are still actively deployed. Just by nature of their jobs they are the most highly trained and specialized men we have and it would not be wise to publicly name them, thus giving the enemy a prize to search for. I'm just thinking out loud though.
I simply cannot comprehend where the inner strength and conviction comes from to sacrifice your life like these young men do. such a hero. he'll be sorely missed
