Imagine being a Medal of Honor recipient, who everyone knows you did not deserve and you left a man behind .

Medal of Dishonor in this case. The real hero of the battle died on the mountain alone while protecting those who left him as they flew away

Now we know the WHOLE story about how the Navy worked so hard to deny Chapman the MOH that he truly earned; all ALONE.
Shame on those that hid the entire story. Shame on those that changed their story and SHAME on the officer that insisted that these men be inserted directly on top of the intended surveillance point and getting so many people killed and hurt. Duh! If you identify a location that facilitates surveillance and overwatch, chances are pretty good that the people that have lived and fought there for centuries are already using it. You might want to insert some place else and creep up, instead of bringing in a flying RPG and bullet magnet straight into the enemy’s well established fields of fire.

I don't understand how this supposedly one of the most elite operators in the world, can actually stand there and take credit for some one else's actions on the battlefield. I really hope his fellow teammates don't back him up on this. It really saddens me to see a person who is supposed to be one of integrity and honor, just flat out lie about what happened on that mountain top

He didn’t earn this medal. He lied about it, the truth came out; specially after they tried to cover up Chapman brave actions.

Imagine having a meeting with top Navy brass in which you agree to tell a fabricated story, in perpetuity, about your role in a controversial battle and receive a medal you didn't earn just so that the two medals earned by your Air Force teammate don't make the Navy look bad by comparison.

Chapman was posthumously given the Medal as well. Slabinski was the leader of that team..... he fought his heart out as well..... don't take anything from any of those men.

Actually this is very sad. The real Hero that day was John Chapman,a USAF special forces who actually did all the things that Sloblowski claims to have done. Surprise,It was filmed from an overhead drone and shows Chapman taking out the bunker and killing lots of bad guys. When asked if he left anyone behind he still claims " That's not how experienced it" In the film Britt does not do anything different then his buddies but they never lied about it. Chapman was left behind yet Britt keeps saying no we did not.I have spent months researching this battle and the lies just continue to grow. The Navy fought very hard to try to stop Chapmans Medals of Honor(He received two,Posthumously) After he was left behind he fought on for another hour all by himself and when the 3rd Chopper was coming in he left the cover to go out and shoot in all directions so the chopper could land. He saved 23 Seals by giving his life so others could live.Any soldier that goes to war is a special person but when you make shit up you lose all respect and Honor. He gets an extra $1000 a month. He got a new Truck and has done countless interviews adding more lies to that battle. Even the Seals have banned him from get togethers and no one from that day will do an interview about Slobinski. It really saddens me to do this but John Chapman and the other Seals that day were the Heros. God Bless John and the other Men who fought that day.

People are quick to judge this guy.
Chapman was incapacitated. He was already shot couple times and was unconscious. In my opinion, they see Roberts dead, they see Chapman incapacitated. They thought he was dead too.
This was under heavy gunfire. This isn't walking around in your kitchen trying to make a decision.
Also, I read that Slabinski disobeyed protocols by going back and trying to locate Roberts. It doesn't make sense to go back for someone only to leave another team member behind.

This guy lied took credit for chapman's actions and kills and then left a navy seal and John Chapman an air force combat controller for dead and then because it was such a disgrace to the seals they spent years covering it up losing paper work etc until finally the drone footage was leaked. This guy is a coward you can see it in his face staring at the floor. Never trust a navy seal, there more nastalgic than anything they care only about themselves. Another example two seals were skimmimg off the top of some operational funds and a green beret found out they said hey want in on it he said no so they choked him out and killed him saying it was a wrestling accident and they were drunk but no alcohol in the green berets system. They were honorable men but not anymore. How is this not stolen valor. He lied in his testimony clearly. Hopefully he joins the .22 caliber club how can he live with himself.

I don’t think you can blanket statement a whole special operations group by the actions of a few it sounds more like you have a personal agenda. Chapman got his awards as well he’s just not alive to receive them.

Everyone who serves deserves respect. One man took his life into his own hands knowing it was certain death and took action to save his fellow men and many others, just because this man is being honored doesnt mean he wont go to the grave knowing his fellow fighter used his life to save himself and many others that day. Nobody will forget Sir Chapman for doing what he did, but this guy and many others probably wouldnt be here today if not for his(Chapman) solemn sacrifice and that is something they will never forget. Stop being a "keyboard warrior" and give respect where its due. This man and others are alive because of what one man did selflessly. MIA/KIA WE WILL NOT FORGET!

To watch previous video of this brave warrior, then this tape, that got zero media coverage, Bravo, for those who died on that ridge, so many years ago, and to those that kept to the code of brothers in arms. Well done! Read about this years ago, and to finally see the men who carried out their mission. And their Families...

    almost died,

Take that you pasty faced cowards who have no honor
