    Pro tip, put a piece of wood over the plastic then hit the wood so you don’t damage the plastic.

    • @7127terra
      @7127terra 3 года назад

      That or using rubber mallet. But used a piece of wood many times when a rubber Mallet wasn't available

      Also if you take a file and dress the inner edge of the hole then the piece will start easier and go in smoother.

    I’ve been watching your videos for the last few weeks you guys are awesome, arlene and Greg you both have great personalities, there are some RUclipsrs I just can’t stand watching but I love watching you guys. It’s amazing that you guys install everything yourselves. I’d like to know what happens off camera when you guys are having trouble with your installs. Lol 😂

    You may want to invest in container of anti seize lubricant for all threaded stuff. And that’s just the beginning. If you ever have to take apart anything you used anti seize on some time down the road, you’ll thank me

    Great video! One of the things that sent a shiver down my spine was step one, loosening the bolts from the stock bumper. I was lucky enough to try this on 15 year old rusted bolts on my TJ! I used wd-40, an impact wrench, and finally a torch. No luck. I swallowed my pride and went to my local mechanic and he used his impact wrench (an industrial version) to finally loosen them. After that all was good. Beware of old bolts! anticipate trouble. BTW Greg, you made it look easy.

    Been eyeballing this but worried about it being junk. Cant believe Antirocks have gotten so expensive for something so simple.

    Am I going crazy or something like old age? Cause I already seen this anti rock sway install,months ago. Especially when you guys installed this neon yellow steering drag link from Stienjager since. An anti rock sway give away would be cool! But expensive! So I will keep dreaming!

      I think they may have gotten sued for calling it an antirock (curries copyrighted name) but not sure.

    Need to find a vender that will give you more tools to work with. It makes install easier with the right tool. My thing is every time I do a job and it saves me money, I buy myself a new tool to help me save more money on my next project. That way I can buy more Jeep parts.

  • @andys5775
    @andys5775 8 месяцев назад +1

    Can you update on longevity and performance? Cant belive antirock is almost 600 bucks. Just doesnt add up compared to other quality parts ive bought.

    • @thatguyjoesoy
      @thatguyjoesoy 8 месяцев назад

      It probably didn't last that long. The knockoffs were well known to fail pretty quickly. The price of an antirock is high but you get what you pay for, a quality product.

      I love this one. In fact bought another for a second jeep after

    • @thatguyjoesoy

      @@andys5775 Some speculate. Others have seen first hand these fail. I've seen multiple posts about this product on forums and multiple accounts of people having the torsion bar fail. The product is a cheap knockoff not built to the same quality as the antirock. If you want to take the risk, that's your call.
