DNA is the book for biological life. A book requires an author.
The bible reveals the author to be God(Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit). This God is also completely holy and perfect. Sadly we sin everyday against God(Romans 5:8). The penalty for sin is Hell(Revelation 21:8).
Thankfully the bible also says that God is rich in mercy and grace. That is why He sent His son to die on a cross to save us from our sin. You and I broke God's law but Jesus paid our fine. Then Jesus rose from the dead, 3 days later, thus defeating death.

When talking about DNA it’s important to remember that it contains a very specific sequence of nucleotides. The specific sequence is what gives DNA it’s value. To say it another way, DNA is 100% useless without this specific sequence.
So it doesn’t matter how much physical DNA you have. What matters is the specific sequence(genetic code). It is this nucleotide arrangement that allows organisms to grow, function, and reproduce. A cell cannot even divide without this specific sequence.
When scientists create DNA in the lab they will have to make sure that ALL the nucleotides are in the correct order. Of course a supercomputer will be required to do this. When you think about it cells are like supercomputers. After all, a cell must actuality store, copy, and transmit vital genetic information. Because the genetic code is so important, the cell goes to great lengths to insure genome stability. The cell has many error correcting systems. These systems are very sophisticated and scientists are still trying understand how they work.
During cell division, the cell tries to rightly make a copy of the entire genome just like scribes try to faithfully copy a text.
However, just as scribes are not perfect, neither is the cell. Sometimes mutations(errors) slip in. Throughout history cancer(a genetic mutation) has ravished humans and it still does so today. Mutations are the cause of hundreds of diseases and disorders and as time goes on, mutations impose an increasingly heavy 'genetic burden' on a species. In the future scientists may invent nanotechnology. With this new technology we could repair the genome directly. We could even stomp out cancer. After all, organisms that are less prone to cancer are the ones who repair their DNA the best.
After all this we can conclude that DNA is the program of biological life. However programs always require a brilliant programmer. There are no known cases of programs arising from something other than a mind. And DNA is a millions times more complex than any man-made technology. So where did the information system of life come from? The bible has the answer. The bible makes it clear that God(Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit) created ALL biological life in 6 days. All the credit goes to God.

Aaah, Intelligent Design...the Bullshit never stops, does it?
If ID we're so obvious...why do basically all biologists reject it? Shouldn't they know best?
      Well, anyway.
First of all, you don't need a Supercomputer to synthesize DNA, goes to show what you know though.
Why would an omnipotent being be so incompetent at "coding" humans? There are countless common genetic conditions that could habe easily been avoided with a better "code".
Why are some genes still located in the mitochondria, where they are much more exposed to free radicals and not safely tucked away in the nucleus?
Why does the Genetic Code of all animals contain traces of retroviruses which prove its evolutionary history beyond the shadow of a doubt?
Go ahead, research endogenous retroviruses. They will destroy your ID-narrative, I'm sorry to say. But you will be closer to an actual understanding of the world.

    • @brandonsballing826
      @brandonsballing826 3 года назад

wrong. HTML IS the code of our cells. The C/C++ youre referring to is closer to the code of quantum physics creating atoms through the strong, weak, electromagnetic and gravity forces, then the possible string theories are also this C code. Because DNA is analogously much higher level being a nucleic acid, it is closer to HTML in the coding world, whereas the quantum foam that comprises spacetime is closer to the javascript.

I think THE MOST important thing to do with synthesized life, before ANYTHING else, is to map out and understand all microscopic processes from the ground up, what and how and when of everything. As of now, we have only a blunt, rough estimate of what large scale things are doing and that's just not enough to have a safe adventure into this technology. First things first, save the medicine and power ups for LAST because so far, it's just shooting in the dark. If there was a mapped out encyclopedia of sorts that contained all the researched and examined results from experiments before we started to open Pandora's box, it would be very useful and save us an extinction level accident.

synthetic life breaks free. It expands to new territories. It crashes through barriers painfully, maybe even dangerously, but - well, there it is.

This makes for a new field in theory and bio-engineering - If you wanted to be an X-Man with the ability to survive a fall from the top of a building, you'd want to first make the organism build a new defensive skin to protect any exposed nerves and organs, then either grow new ones or move the old ones back to where they belonged... This alone would change the nature of our skin. It also raises the very real question: How would you "feel" afterwards? Better? Would it enable you to really deal with pressure and internal feelings of self-health? How would your emotional state be as a whole? A LOT of a person's outlook has to do with their own feelings of invulnerability.
It has consequences for a fully developed hybrid organism too, when does a person stop being a person with "modifications" and start being someone's intellectual property?
