I must admit, though i am looking forward to this drama, I am worried about the chemistry betweeen Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. In the BTS of The Untamed, Word of Honor and Immortality, we see the actors for the two main characters playing and joking around together. They all seemed to be having fun and getting along quite well. In the BTS of HOB, we have rarely even seen them together.
But you see now because immortality actors keep showing their closeness in the end the drama was hard to air, this crew is just more careful, fans are also careful to upload videos or cp pics so this drama can air. They're main characters, all eyes are on them so they need to be careful. China is so strict right now with bl live action
This concerns me as well, I don't think they were a good choice in terms of chemistry, but then again that's something that can't be faked and you never know if there will be. What made the other bl dramas seem like actual romance was the chemistry and I'm worried this one won't feel romantic
I'm a tad concerned about it too. I also see that the clips are focused more on the actor of Xie Lian than on the actor for Hua Cheng. I find it funny though that every time this Xie Lian is being goofy, Hua Cheng looks like "why are you like this, man?" Like an older brother annoyed of his younger sibling.
@@tamara1799 Well, here we are, a year later and still no HOB. Whether something gets aired or not has nothing to do with if the actors get along or not. It's all about Xi Jinping's determination to stamp out anything even remotly to do with BL/Danmei.
I am quite worried for this drama because HOB is literally my favorite novel after founder of diabolism. My expectations is so high because the director is the one who made The Untamed my favorite, but there are many things concerning me like the censorship, the novel is around 200 plus ch but the drama would be of 60 ep so i dont know how they will cover the plot , It would very difficult for the leads to portray the characters and the chemistry of Hualian etc. I really hope they give justice to the novel surely it would not be an easy job
