My 1st blackjack 29 held the liner in great. But the replacement (after crash destruction) mk2 blackjack 29, the liner spun with the cable. Glued it, pinched the tube end to square even slight crimp in the tube. No joy. So let it spin till worn out. The damb thing still going 3yrs later. Paaah. 😂
Hey love your videos, got a sonic wake V2 and running it on (2) 3s 100c 5kmah spektrums… lots of heat generated when running so much so steam comes out of the boat when i take the canopy off. Water seems to flow through the coolant system fine…. Any tips??
You may want to drill out the truhull where the cooling lines go through the back of your boat from the rudder. Proboat drilled the holes very tight.. pull the cooling lines off the rudder and pull them into the boat find the corresponding drill bit, don't over drill the holes...
Many thanks for your videos and for sharing tips 👍 will you remove too the stock plastic tray in the middle? My Geico 24" is waiting part #4... 😃 Thanks
Do you think this will work on my enforcer super gator its made of fiberglass and the stuffing tube broke off flush with the hull? This boat hasnt been in the water since 2000 i believe
Yes, sir, it'll work. You may be able to use a soldering iron to heat the tube opposed to a torch.. either way, heat softens the epoxy/adhesive just enough to pull the tube out the hulll. Good luck BG4L
One more thing I have a Sonicwake 36 V2, I heard you mention that you had two 5000 100C batteries in the boat I have a Spektrum 160A ESC in mine, Is the limit of the batteries 8S, like can I put two 5000 6S 100C batteries in series that would make it 12S, would that be ok or would that break the 8S limit?
Big B is a good teacher for the new guys to the hobby. If your boat is broken do not be afraid of fixing it .
Boy that little bit of heat did the trick eh..... Great tip B 👍
Awesome Big B great tutorial video 👍
Big thanks
Thanks for this video. Helped me a lot…
As always fantastic information man thanks for sharing

I'm working on the stuffing tube install video right now should be out tomorrow
@@IRONCLADRC Thanks a lot master! 👍👍 Following your work 😉
Hey Big B. How do you know when the stuffing tube needs to be replaced?
I Replace mine if there's a kink in the tube or if the Teflon liner or flex cable heated up and burnt the brass.
Hi big B do you use Teflon liners in all your boats
Thanks Mark
No, some boats I run no Teflon liner, I actually prefer running without a Teflon liner.

I'm sorry to bug you again but where do you get your 1/4 in inside brass tube and your
.150 Teflon liner to run 3/16
drive shaft. I hate to bug you

I wanted to ask, you talk about prop walk, do you use a gyro your steering servo, or can you even use a gyro?
I've tried gyros before but they do more harm than good. Gyro tended to fish tail the while in a straight
Big B are you on Facebook or Messenger, I would like to ask you a few questions about some boats. I would really appreciate some advice, thanks
