    How about "Guess the era of the song?" where they have to guess if the song is frm the 60's, 70's, 80's. 90's etc, that would be fun

      Hola Mamacita obviously that's what he meant when he said it. Still doesn't make any sense that he wouldn't know anything past that just because he was born in 1998. The music is still there for him to freely listen to. He's not banned from it.

      Yeah, I was born in 1979 and I knew of and enjoyed listening to: Frank Sinatra, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Nat King Cole, Chuck Berry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bing Crosby, John Denver, The Temptations, and many more.
      A lot of them are so caught up in only what is modern, it's pretty sad. You'd think with the Internet, and thus much easier access to checking out the older stuff, they'd be all over it...

    • @LoveShiaGDSN
      @LoveShiaGDSN 6 лет назад +18

      I'm a millennial by most definitions of the term (born in 1991), and the internet absolutely opened up my world in that way. I was able to watch The Beatles at Shea Stadium and all of their films and interviews in a way I wouldn't have been able to before that. This was like ten years ago before youtube clamped down on everything, but it was great. I had my own case of beatlemania. I don't understand people that refuse to listen or watch anything older than themselves.

      THIS. I was born in '89, and there was this "finish the lyrics" quiz going around some years ago, an 80s one and a 90s one. The 90s one, despite growing up in the 90s, I wasn't great at because I had real specific tastes (read: bubblegum pop stuff) in the 90s. 80s stuff, I was way better at, because I was exposed to ALL the different popular genres.

    The guy with cap has such tunnel vision on music. How someone who listen to music have such narrow vision blows mine mind. And to him ,Cher was 52 when she got that number 1 hit which took 6 years to create

      i dont get how that song could take 6 years to create cause music changes so much in 6 years. anything they made in the beginning would be irrelevant a few years later

    what i don't UNDERSTAND is the reasoning between "i was born in 98 so i wouldn't know any 90s music" like NO! you know that's available for consumption for everyone and not exclusively to who was around to remember it right?
    like, just say that you only listen to contemporary music.

    "Believe" was also the first mainstream hit that featured Autotune (which is is used on pretty much every song now).
