I've been using adx 125 for about one month. I was thinking of buying adx 300 if it comes. But after seeing this nice review, I immediately saw that they didn't make any improvements. As it's said below in another comment, it looks lik downgrade not upgrade. For example, there is still no lighting under the saddle. The saddle does not stay up with the piston. There is no extra information on the screen such as instant fuel consumption, average distance remaining. So my next adv motor will definitely not be sym. I am very happy with my adx 125 as it is and at least half the price of sym adx 300. Goodbye sym. Thank you, reviewer. Great review as usual, looking forward to a proper road trip test. If you get a chance test drive QJmot ATR 125, I would really love to hear how it compares to SYM. ATR 15 is now on sale in my country for as low as 3000 euros and seems to be a decent machine.
I've only had contact with a few QJ motorcycles but I was impressed by how solid and well built they felt. Unfortunately at the moment QJ is not available in Romania. Maybe in the future.
Always good to hear your frank thoughts, (even though we don’t have most of what Sym has to offer in the first place)?! My biggest gripe with most 2 wheel rides is fuel?! There’s never enough of it unless you’re riding a 650Klr / old Ninja 500r / and a few others? I’m so envious of your having access to the Zontes line?! Based on what I’m reading plus your ride / tech reviews, Zontes seems to get it, (what the rider wants in most categories)?! Thanks for listening, best to you. Rola / (Oregon / USA)
Sometimes I think the big manufacturers are stuck into building bikes approved by comities and not by actual riders. That's where the Asian manufacturers come in and actually listen to peoples needs. Sure they may be behind on quality control but they are catching up and they are learning very fast. Just in the past 5 years the quality of machines coming out of China has gone up tremendously.
The ADXTG400 is already selling like hot cakes in Malaysia, new AAE (Auto Adaptive Engine), 44mm upside-down fork, rear mono shock, dual fuel pump, etc.
It's weird and I have to analyze it properly because it feels a watered down version of what an adx should be but then again it's only 700 euro more expensive then the 125 and you get 26bhp instead of 12.5bhp. I have to be very careful tu evaluate it properly to be fair to it not just destroy it because I don't think it's a proper ADX. A lot to think about.
Thank you very much for the review. I am writing from Turkey. ADX350 will arrive in December and I am torn between the Zontes 350 and which one do you recommend?
Depends what you do with it. If you want highway long distance touring the 350E is better, if you do more city and a bit of off-road the ADX300 is better.
3700euro max,no Monoshock, slim front fork,no electric windshield,no heated grips or seat. Why do i want to buy a damaged one and move the engine into a 125ADX after 5-7years? :D
Hi Alex do you prefer adx 300 or cruisym 300 a? Which one do you believe that has a better quality and is better while driving? Thanks for the videos!!
Nice update Al. are those handlebar covers available for the 125cc version? at minute 24:28 ish, you said the fuel tank is 15 litres, have they reduced it for the newer versions?
I think SYM just went for the looks here. The real deal will be the 400 . ALTHOUGH it's better looking from the Joyride . And i will certainly go for the looks and will trade my Joyride in the future for that beauty!!! Thanks Alex for the video, really looking forward for you hitting the roads with that beautiful machine.
Hi Alex, I was long waiting for this one, cause it looked like a valid alternative to Honda ADV. What pushes me away is platform of joyride with awkward seating position. Is it the same as on joyride (bad) or they improved it a bit?
higher fuel consumption (less range), much higher registration and technical inspection/insurance almost 3 times the price than 125cc, but it is bigger and looks more serious, I will wait for the complete review and then decide, but I think the adx 125 is the best buy for a poor man like me who wants to travel long distances and some offroading...
Instead of this you have a lot of option.JoyMax 300,GTS 300cc,even it is a little bit older,no problem. Or Forza 350,a little bit used. If I had 4000 euro or so in my pocket,I would have plenty of options. This SYM also ADX,are trying to look like Honda ADV. Anyway, this is ridiculous thing. Who want a scooter, offroad? Scooter always was meant to be ridden in cities,or at least B roads. Offroad? What? To chase bears, wild hogs? Majority of people want road, not all of us are hunters,to climb mountains, just for what? A picture? Then go down again in road!
@@EndritBs I live in the countryside, where there are a lot of offroad roads, i want brand new not used, honda adv 350 is 7500e here(sorry for my english)

@@ATIHD5850 I think VOGE is good. But I do not advise 125cc,they are thirsty.A 300cc is the best. Also Xmax 250,300cc.I have driven both long distances, and I averaged 2.6 to 2.8L/100 km.Me generally,I do not like enduros, adv,or any bike that send me in mountains.I prefer paved roads. So Xmax,or Burgman 400 is very good buy. Burgman are known for their tough engines, and they are Japanesse, bulletproof. If I had the money I would always buy Suzuki,or any Japan.
DIssapointed by the underseat storage, the overall look and regular forks on the front. Maybe the true competitor for the adv350 is the adx400 that will come out in the future. The adx300 seems/looks for me too much like the other city scooters from Sym
I've had the honda Adv350. And didn't get on with it's shape, Uncomfortable.I switched to the honda Sh350i, for me way more comfort. So the looks are very similar, the 125 does look better. I've had two Sym scooter, gts 250 then the gts300 joymax. Awesome and comfy on long trips.
Another clone of ADV 350 , this time from SYM. Very interesting style, but needs something more powerful than the engine of Joyride. Greetings from Greece Alex..
Hello Alex, I'm about to buy a new scooter. For months I've been looking at the symphony st 200 top box which is very affordable. The main reason I want a scooter is going to work (15km city road) , to avoid traffic and do not have the parking prroblem I currently have. Just saw your video on the ADX300 and was wondering if you would suggest this over the symphony one. Keep in mind that I have a car, so I'm not interested in very long journeys or off-road situations. The speed I'm going to work is about 80-90km/h for about 8 minutes on a highway and then 40-50km/h until I'm there. Thanks and greetings from Greece!
Lovely ADX 300 Alex...Are they updating the ADX 125 mate or just keeping it the same ??...Still haven't bought 1 yet, but hopefully soon...Hope you have a good weekend Alex 🙂
Great review dude, i will sell my piaggio madley and buy thix adx 300. It looks amazing scooter, and i see in my country (Serbia) price its gona be 4.600€ Really good price for scooter like that with 300cc
I didn't expect THIS to be the long waited ADX 300 ! Disapointed...This seems😅 to be a good and nice road 300 cc scooter...Nothing more. I am a Sym driver, but prefer the 300 cc Joyride over this one. Adding a Shad 44 or 46 Topcase it costs here 5.000 €. Not cheap, but a good scooter for easely 500 kms. cruising with some stops and seesiting...My opinion...There is always better, of course. But in Sym this is my pricelimit, so...Regards from Mallorca, Alex !
Haven't tested it on the highway but hopefully this month I'll get my hands on a unit that has registration and I can test it. So keep your eyes on the channel.

How can you compare the Honda Adv 350 and that Sym Adx and say that there is nothing special about the Honda except for the price?! And the quality? What will Sym be like after 10, 15k?
My Sym Symphony ST200 has 48.000km and is in perfect running condition. So what are you on about? Next year I'm shipping to the USA to do the scooter cannonball with it another 10.000km plus I use it daily to go to work. So probably by next summer it will have over 70.000km so what's your point?
If only SYM somehow put a MONOSHOCK on its rear suspension instead of 2 traditional maybe a monoshock from the adx125 or even maxsym tl508 would be much BETTER BIGGEST LET DOWN (REAR SUSPENSION)

I have to be very careful tu evaluate it properly to be fair to it not just destroy it because I don't think it's a proper ADX. A lot to think about.
Bad Alex, bad Alex.. Giving us ideas .. Honda adv 350 vs Kymco DTX 360 vs SYM ADX 300 .. Choices, choices
I always love your review. Watching from Philippines.
Thank you! :D
You seem happy ! Is this number 4? The windscreen is not smoked, you are! Mamba engine on the adx 125 Make it so!
Defenetly not, the adx125 is next on my list
Thank you very much for the review. I am writing from Turkey. ADX350 will arrive in December and I am torn between the Zontes 350 and which one do you recommend?
Depends what you do with it. If you want highway long distance touring the 350E is better, if you do more city and a bit of off-road the ADX300 is better.
dostum bende aynı ikilemde kaldım ama zontesin servisi bulunduğun yerde iyi değilse, bulaşma derim.
1 word: PREMIUM! 🤟

Can't say at the moment. Haven't ridden the ADX 300 on the open road yet.
Nice update Al. are those handlebar covers available for the 125cc version? at minute 24:28 ish, you said the fuel tank is 15 litres, have they reduced it for the newer versions?
No, but you might be able to make them fit, haven't tried but will look into it.
It's improved because you can stretch your legs forward a lot.
Salut Alex! Se pare ca le-au lipsit curajul, inspiratia sau banii de a duce ideea de Adx 125 mai departe!
Rămâne de văzut cum va fi 400-le
I dont understand, why Sym doesnt include some info about fuel consumption,on the dash,an avg and range, would be usefull.
higher fuel consumption (less range), much higher registration and technical inspection/insurance almost 3 times the price than 125cc, but it is bigger and looks more serious, I will wait for the complete review and then decide, but I think the adx 125 is the best buy for a poor man like me who wants to travel long distances and some offroading...
Anyway,this is ridiculous thing.
Who want a scooter,offroad?
Scooter always was meant to be ridden in cities,or at least B roads.
Offroad? What? To chase bears, wild hogs? Majority of people want road, not all of us are hunters,to climb mountains, just for what? A picture? Then go down again in road!
@@EndritBs I live in the countryside, where there are a lot of offroad roads, i want brand new not used, honda adv 350 is 7500e here(sorry for my english)
@@ATIHD5850 better get a motorcycle, they have bigger wheels, are good suited for these scenarios.

I would not go with any kind of scooter in mountains,is nonsense.
7500 for 350cc? I rather buy some used SUV?
@@EndritBs 7850e is exactly price for honda adv 350 here in Serbia :D,it's not that bad, here and there are gravel roads but mostly it is paved...adx 125 is perfect, very economical 2.3/100km, huge fuel tank,im ok with 100-110km/h...its little overpriced I will wait for the price to drop around 3500e...im also looking at VOGE SR3 250 and some other models, will see...
If I had the money I would always buy Suzuki,or any Japan.
hope your well, can you make a review of a test ride on the sym adv300 as im looking to buy one soon and like your feedback as well. thank you
I'm also waiting to get my hands on a registered one and ride it on the street 😂
Hello Alex! Do you consider voge sr3 more reliable or sym adx 300 with f4?
I have no experience with Voge but SYM's especially the 300 is very reliable.
Alex one question, can I put JoyMax 300 suspensions in my Jet X 200cc? And should I change gear ratios and rollers? To make it 13.5 gram each roller.
I don't think the joymax suspension fits. With rollers you can try to experiment.
Curious to see if I made the right decision getting the ADV350 three months ago instead of waiting for the adx300. Lets see!
I think the price is the deciding factor.
DIssapointed by the underseat storage, the overall look and regular forks on the front. Maybe the true competitor for the adv350 is the adx400 that will come out in the future. The adx300 seems/looks for me too much like the other city scooters from Sym
200 kg kerb weight is too much for 300cc scooter, especially if its ADV scooter.
The Dash iz the only thing i like about it !
Any news Alex from the new video about adx 300 from Athens test??
Didn't ride it in Athens. Waiting for a test ride unit here in Romania. Hopefully we have one before I leave for EICMA
Hello from Turkey!
Hello! :D
I have a SYM ADX 125, İ love it. And İ like cruisym. But cruisym not come to Turkey. İs there 2024 cruisym on Romania?
I've had the honda Adv350. And didn't get on with it's shape, Uncomfortable.I switched to the honda Sh350i, for me way more comfort. So the looks are very similar, the 125 does look better. I've had two Sym scooter, gts 250 then the gts300 joymax. Awesome and comfy on long trips.
Wow, I dreamed about the Adv 350...
I have the SH300, and I thought the ADV 350 would be way comfortable.
Hey Alex, can you do review on Honda SH, for example SH150i
If honda wish to lend me one then sure :)
Hallo very good review. Can you tell us when it will be on the market? Thanks
Ask your local dealer, depends on your region.
@@RideWithAlex Iam from Greece so we have the same main dealer Gorgolis. In Romania when will be explore? Thanks
@@stathisv7626 i don't know when they plan to launch it. This unit was a special order and I don't know when stocks come in. Probably soon.
For what you need, get the symphony st
@@RideWithAlex much appreciated, thank you.
Lovely ADX 300 Alex...Are they updating the ADX 125 mate or just keeping it the same ??...Still haven't bought 1 yet, but hopefully soon...Hope you have a good weekend Alex 🙂
Don't have any info on any update for the ADX 125.
Great review dude, i will sell my piaggio madley and buy thix adx 300. It looks amazing scooter, and i see in my country (Serbia) price its gona be 4.600€
Really good price for scooter like that with 300cc
You would be downgrading. Medley is superior sans the engine power.
But in Sym this is my pricelimit, so...Regards from Mallorca, Alex !
thanks for video. i want this bike for long hihg way touring. is it good idea? i am short guy and seat height is ok for me.
Haven't tested it on the highway but hopefully this month I'll get my hands on a unit that has registration and I can test it. So keep your eyes on the channel.
@@RideWithAlex thanks very much. looking for your new video.
Which mid-range motorcycle (250 to 400 cubic centimeters) has, in your opinion, the best and most comfortable suspension (like a cloud)?
Motorcycle or scooter?
@@RideWithAlex I ride a Honda SH 150 now (its' not very bad) but due to my age I am looking for a very very comfortable scooter with soft suspensions for daily use on city streets. Comfort is now my number one criterion! Thanks again!
PS: recently i drove the voge sr3 and it was impressively good with potholes and road irregularities.
@@ΠανιτοΤ you can test the adx 300 the suspension is pretty soft, but best would be to go on test rides and decide for yourself which one works for you.

I guess time will tell if it's going to be a good seller.
Hi
Can adx 300 run a long distances?lets say over 1000 klm
I've ran over 1000km on 125. This 300 is just getting warmed up at 1000km
I'm sold on the adx125. When can you ship it? 😀
Ship to where? :)))
If only SYM somehow put a MONOSHOCK on its rear suspension instead of 2 traditional
maybe a monoshock from the adx125 or even maxsym tl508 would be much BETTER
BIGGEST LET DOWN (REAR SUSPENSION)
We'll see how the 400 is when I see one in person.

@@RideWithAlex Thanks Alex! I want you to ask another thing. I'll ask here to keep the conversation going. I want to trade my NHT-200 next year to either ADX 300 or Zontes M310 (thinking about these 2 options for now). For a little bit of city riding and some touring (let's say max 500 km per day, with passenger), what would you choose between those two? Whats the difference between adx and adv ?
If you mean Sym adx 300 and honda adv350 they are 2 scooters made by 2 different manufacturers both for the 300cc class adv scooters. They share no parts and it depends on you what you are looking for and what you prefer.
