The other day I was at our local skating rink with my daughter for the public skating session, and on this day there was an older (70+) German man there on his vintage leather hockey skates, like those in the video. They looked just like the ones my dad wore on our backyard rink in the 80s. And this old man was effortlessly FLYING around the rink. Easily the fastest and smoothest skater I've seen there, and he looked like he was having a blast! I took a short break from skating just to watch him sailing around the ice.
Hi, could you recommend best ice skates under $250? (Intermediate, know basic tricks, little bit wider feet, previously owned bauer nexus but cant remember the model, not gonna play hockey, more casual/maybe freestyle)
thanks for fast answer and also, I know that fit is individual for everyone but I think the X are kinda in the vapor family, dont you think they might be a little bit too narrow (In rental skates sometimes my feet hurt kinda like under ankle and the arch from the inside) Thank you very much for your time (btw i don't really have a skates shop near me, but even when i was trying some used/friends' skates they felt perfect but the second i entered ice, they hurt my feet, so trying skates in shop wouldn't help me that much) (sorry if you got notification spam, was fighting with yt autodeleting link haha)
@@AlpineIceFreestyle thanks, i think i'll go with the X but maybe i'll wait for next season. Was thinking about m3 too because saw it for $280 on bauer's website, unfortunately it's $400 in poland, but i'll think about it. Again thanks very much for help

I have wide feet and the X in EE was great. Otherwise i would say M3 but this might crack the budget

Schade um die schönen Schuhe. Tape sieht einfach doof aus...
Hab sie danach bei einem Schuster reparieren lassen😉
