Yes the red ones were the ultra G3. Really like seeing you doing something different and showing some love to Graf. Would like to see you compare some old Jofa technology to the protective gear today. I still think they make the best shin and shoulder pads of all time.
Still miss my Microns, big toe guard save me many times and wore them till there was no support at all, whole boot was soft, got my money out of them. I wonder how today's players would react when I break out the duct tape and start taping up my ankles, lots of WTF's most likely LOL!
I still love my 4000's !!! There is something about the design that focuses on connecting your foot to the blade, not about the being the stiffest boot around your foot. That 30+ year old skate still holds up today! Come back GRAF !!! OH YES... and if they could still be $475... That would be nice.. I thought that was astronomical in the 80s!!!
In my day all tendon guards were solid. Even my first pair of Bauer 25 had a non-flexible tendon and they were fairly flexible basic entry hockey skates.
Idk if the modern grafs have changed but all the 7xx series had radically different cuts as far as depth and heel width. It's really important to get grafs properly fitted.
Been on custom g75s for 9 years now with the OG tendon guards and tuuks. I’ve been on new Bauer and ccm skates and they make wayyyy comfier and light weight skates but performance wise I’m still wearing grafs… I play 2-4 nights a week for nine years and only issues with rivets getting loose after a few years which is kinda a wear item in my eyes
What type of foot are the R80s/G3? I have a wide foot with a deep instep. I don’t really think the 703s will work with my foot type. I’m currently wearing G75’s and interested in R80’s/G3’s.
That’s why I love the PK line, more room for the heel. I have no problem with heel slip in the PK line, but in the other Grafs I’ve tried the heel is too tight. And also that they’re stiff but not too stiff. I’ve tried so many of the newer skates over the years and they’re too stiff, too tight, lacing goes too high. And my feet get soaking wet in newer CCM and Bauer skates. It’s kinda sad kids nowadays only have Bauer or CCM to choose from
It’s not just the boot that affects the feeling skating. Graf skate blade holders have a flatter stance than SB or Tuuk. You will end up on the toes much later in the stride. The entire stride will be more powerful. In hockey it’s not always what u want but in bandy it’s more important. Iam responsible for skates and skate profiles in the top team in Sweden and 90% of the players use Graf skate holders. They get new skates and we immediately replace the skate holder and of course the runners as well
My last couple pairs of skates have been grass will not skate at anything else other than grass and I have skated on Bowers since Bauer 1000 CCM tacks I've stated that a lot of skates the graph is without a doubt I skate on G7 without a doubt are the best skates in my opinion for Pure skaters
Graf skates g7 are without a doubt are the best skate ever made that being said still if you're a pure skater and you make full extensions out to your toe first thing I did with all of my skates was Ben the s*** out of that tendon guard once you get that loosened up by manually doing so have no issues
So am I. I don’t like my toes touching the toe cap. I’ve always said this, it’s personal preference. Nothing wrong with that at all. It could justify heel slipping forward but not your heel moving vertically.
Actually it could, I’ve been playing for 34 years, I played AAA, junior A, and other high level leagues, I’m 37 now and I wear a size 6 tapered, if I wear a 6.5 my heel is all over the place vertically and forward, the heel lock is 100% dependent on wearing the correct size, if I wear a 5.5 it locks my heel even tighter up and down to the point of uncomfortable and my feet hurt after a period. There’s a reason foot scans for custom skates and wearing the size recommended by the manufacturer exist, to minimize foot movement, toe box and lock your foot in as best as possible.

And best Pro elbow pads. In Sweden. Jofa 9177 Pro, RBK 8K Pro (same thing also made in Sweden).
Keep the graf videos coming please!! So good to see!
For reals.
More to come!
Love your limited edition Grafs.
Finally managed to source my new Grafs and should arrive any day now. Simply the best skates
Graf is the most comfy skates after Rbk for me.. really love em

Ultra G7 for the red/white. I've skated Supra 7305 for years. Best skates I've owned.
G3, the G7 have the ankle straps
Graf F60 is my guess for the Red-and-White original.
I want it red skates, looks awesome!!
i like this channel so much man
looks like the reds are the Supra 670 ?

Flexible tendon can be found on the Graf Supra 502 model back in the day!
Gah. I want a pair so badly. Can you get them in the US anywhere? Haven’t seen them at all
How does the comfort compare the a True SVH or other model?
Got my pk7900 baked today…. Just as comfy if not better

Anybody know where the Graf G7 is in stock? I'm told they can't be gotten any longer, unless ordered custom and from Switzerland directly?

Make sure you get your blades profiled properly and if you do that you won't notice the flatness of the holder
I'm curious that what size those weighted skates are?
It's 8 (Written under the skate at 4:59)
size 8 Graf
Miss my 707s and 705s

I own three pairs of old grafs. 6.03 703. And another pair I forget the number. Graf to me re the best skates. .
Graf G35 Ultras?
g3 ultras
Loved mine! One of the best pairs I've ever worn, 2nd after my True skate.
Was the red one F60 or G70?
I got here within a hour on my tv tho
I have a hard time listening to Tommy on heal hold when he wears a much larger boot than what his foot scans at

I agree older skates like require a much closer fit to your foot.
I actually buy bigger inline skates than my older ice hockey skates.
You guys should do a jetspeed ft7 pro vs ft ghost
Can you give weights on all 3 pairs please if you don't mind. Thanks
its in the video
Ok thanks, saw it. Missed it the first time. One more thing, what size skates? Thanks
8 Graf which is like a 7.5ish CCM skate box size.
@HockeyTutorialOfficial thank you, keep up the great content
That's the ultra g7 boot with a different tendon guard.
Graf in red looks like Supra G70
Ultra G3
I loved these skates. Only issue was they scuffed up very easily.
Brother I used tacks most of my life...grafs is there custom fit or molded into your ankles... tacks do that..❤
F60!
Graf g7 all the way
Supra 370s for the red
Modern skates are terrible.
Graf always made the best skates. The best skaters in my day always wore Grafs. RIP.
RIP?!
@@phguGraf is out of business in North America
I own over 35 pairs of of skates. People ask me all the time how can I switch. Skates. Easy
the red, white and black pair look like bowling shoes 😬
I wish voice recognition would have picked up graf not grass...
Those red ones look like public skate rentals. Nope!
