- How to turn a segmented wooden salad bowl. Turning on a wood lathe fun and challenging but the result can be breath taking. In this video I will show step by step how did I make this fun looking bowl. The various woods are oak, beech, iroko, wenge and Zebrano. Segmented wood turning is a great way for the woodturner to test his or her turning skills. Happy Watching 😊

awesome looking salad bowl David. Did you make that centering jig that slides to fit and it centers your rings for glue up? That is an awesome jig. Please let me know where you got it or if you made it.
