Seekers and imposters are different. Not by much, but the difference is the seekers aren’t trying to blend in amongst the crewmates. Heck, maybe seekers are crewmates that got converted by imposters and it took effect just as the round starts (I might be actually putting out among us lore that happens to be true, without even realizing it)
