Actually I have seen it a lot in clips on other channel that stores clips from the parliament of key moments , especially during early covid period, lockdown, demonetization, oxygen supply scandal, etc.
This guy is always doing such things. It is not just the mic, but they even pass bills without proper official process and procedures.

Even if you say that drop year students could have casted their votes, their proportion to the total number of students attending the exam is insignificant. Most students who gave the exam were under 18 and not eligible to cast a vote.

First of all, those students were spread out across India, not just one state. There are many states, some where BJP did well and some where INDI alliance did well. If he meant about the parents of those children (which would be around 20 lakhs), clearly not all of them would have voted for BJP.
Now let's dive deeper For students who got less than 400 it's anyways unlikely that they would have secured a government college seat, because even if you cancel out the inflation in the scores of other children, most of these children don't have enough score (on the basis of past data) to get a seat in government colleges (unless there's some reservation). And their parents understand that. This particular population (under 400-500) would amount to more than 60% of the students who had written NEET. Most students who write NEET in any given year don't get a government college seat. Just like JEE, NEET is also an elimination exam.
So really, his comment is literally reduced from a sample of 10 lakh students to less than 2-3 lakh, and even among them not everyone's parents would have voted for BJP.
Do you understand what I am trying to say? I am in complete support of the students, and all against the paper leaks. But just because our emotions are running high it doesn't mean we get to say any random senseless thing.
It is an undeniable fact that there are less than 1 lakh seats in the government colleges across India, and most of those students didn't stand a chance to get a seat. They were running on a race they had already lost before they even began running... They gave that exam under the pressure of their parents, etc. Their actual talent and interest lies somewhere else. That's the sad reality.
Simply passing comments like 10 lakh students (or their parents) crying because they voted for a particular party is ridiculous.
I personally am from Tamil Nadu, and don't like BJP. But I do not accept senseless statements.

If the Presiding officer has the control, why he turns of the mic and why opposition leaders are not given screen space. Whenever a opposition member speaks, the camera is turned to Om Birla. They rarely show any opposition members. Contrast it with the BJP member speaking, Om Birla and all others will not be seen. I believer there is a nexus between the presiding officer and the govt.
We can clearly see that mic was switched off. IF Speaker did not swith off then why did he change the topic, he should have informed electrician to check the issue. That act means he had done it or he knows who had done it. Mr. Om Birla, you have insulted democracy by behaving like, Shame on you.
