    • @hannahtattoo

      What would a service behind closed doors even mean? Are the doors usually left open then? Does it mean closed to the public? Why and when would a church service ever be privately held? Who would be involved in a private church service? Or as I thought you might suggest (just reached this part of the video) could it mean a private service that shouldn't be happening because it has nothing to do with the church?
      I wonder why there would be a need to get rid of the congregation if the author is indicating sexual abuse? Unless of course there is a certain number of members that are participating along with the clergy members...
      Is the blood already on the persons hands? Or will it be. Very possiblly referring to both. I think the lack of specifics in the threat implies to me the author knows 1. the church will have a very good idea to what it refers to, and 2. there are others who could also be possible authors so keeping it vague will help hide his identity.

    In my (limited) experience, Catholics don't usually use the word "service," though perhaps they do in the UK. They use "Mass," or "Liturgy." I was raised RC, and I don't call it a congregation, I call them celebrants.

    “Behind closed doors” is an idiom for “doing something in secret”. Does it still imply the possible connection to sexual abuse given that the word “doors” isn’t used in its literal sense?

  • @maytheforcebewithyou3301

    A few interesting things I have picked up: The original letter uses the word 'petrol' (correct spelling) not 'petro'. But the word 'congregation' is spelled incorrectly as in 'congragation' in the original! This word (and the word 'continue') are the only words that are in lower-case. Does the lack of punctuation mean anything? Even the word 'Youve' has no apostrophe.
    To me, the lack of punctuation is trying to show a lack of respect for the church and perhaps trying to portray that the writer is uneducated, but in fact is educated. The word 'congragation' is purposefully spelled incorrectly in my opinion (hence lowercase, he spent time thinking about this, hence this small mistake) again to try to convey that the writer is not a good speller.

      This is my non professional opinion. I'm a therapist but not a letter analist.
      It could be someone repressing their homosexuality, feeling resentment towards the church for either not supporting it or making "him" feel trapped in his secret. He's been holding it in and feels like he's going to explode (petro bomb).
      The use of the word "straight", instead of "right" away, at the beginning of the sentence may reflect the main present conflict. Straight = heterosexual.
      Abuse happens "behind closed doors". This person may have felt betrayed, "stabbed" in the back, by someone he trusted in the church.

      I thought, we were just swapping random statements 😉 You seem to have deleted your reply, sir? Anyway, I reasoned with a burst of confused anger because, the author said "petrol bomb" and followed up with "stabbed one by one". A bomb should suffice in stopping the congregation, adding in more violence is unnecessary and leads me to think the person just wants to vent in a confused manner. I could offer my opinion on his motives or reasons, but it would be pure speculation on my part.

    • @Ryotbh
      @Ryotbh 4 года назад +2

      I also found it strange that the author would go from petrol bombing (not close and personal) to stabbing (very close and personal).
      Assuming the potential of abuse in some way the switch happens after the author mentions ‘doors’.
      That said, “behind closed doors” is a pretty common phrase and is an extension of the threat (all services including low-key private ones).
      The want to stop ‘all services’ definitely makes me believe that it is due to church doctrine/teaching that the threat was made.

      Firebugs do have a sexual "deviation " connection and are sexually aroused with their bombs and arsons.With all info taken into account and his threat to firebomb and then to stab, I thought about it all, and then I surmised he(Thee Author) to be a Youngish man or immature, or quite possibly abused in childhood 18-23 or 27-35 year old and caught inside a conflicted mind.
      He must've been abused, neglected or grew in and around a strict home and at church every service throughout his childhood.
      The author wanted to attack the Church and then target the congregation so perhaps the confliction like you said @Peter Hyatt. He could be having struggles with some sexual aspects to his personality

  • @androsiller9423
    @androsiller9423 4 года назад +3

    I am drawn to the use of the word ‘your’, as in ‘your church’ and ‘your congregation’, as opposed to ‘the church’ or ‘the congregation’. To me this implies a level of personal estrangement from this particular church. This is something that doesn’t include me anymore and I want to destroy it as punishment for a real or perceived wrong. The use of ‘services’, ‘congregation’ and ‘members’ also suggest someone familiar with church life. You state that the word ‘doors’ suggests sexual abuse, maybe this could be the reason and also explain the deep seated need to imagine destroying the church by fire and stabbing each member of the congregation in a controlled manner. Both of these ideas suggest a need to regain control.

    Please be aware 'Petro' bomb is not the standard British English vernacular. 'Petrol' bomb would be the more usual wording, for someone of reasonable intelligence here.
    Not sure what the implications are from the different choice of word - it might be someone younger or less educated or from certain backgrounds, but I leave that to the people more qualified than I to dig into this further and give informed analysis.
    Just thought someone may find this snippet of information of some use, given the different language uses typical between US and UK English.

      It may also be used to identify someone who uses the word the same way. A nasty note was once sent and described a car window as a 'windowscreen' not 'windscreen' So when someone later verbally mentioned a car window in exact same way it was deemed likely to be the culprit of the note. Thing is about this church note is they seem to have anticipated how the person receiving it may get around their threat so effectively doubled it.

    I'd like to ask - do you think there's a connection between "straight away" and the themes of sexuality you've identified? Maybe the author distancing themselves from "others" who are heterosexuals (straights), and even wishing them to be away, physically?

    In this specific instance would the police look at the church clergy and investigate past accusations or situations where a dangerous person was kept on instead of expelled when suspicious activity came to light? Since it seems possible that this person is upset about past sexual abuse and is making the threat because that danger (or their perception of it) still exists in the church. Almost like going to the root of the problem. And of course making violent threats isn’t ok and this person should still be brought to justice. But would the threat be nullified if the original abuser were exposed?

    I believe you suggested in another video to ‘let the author of the statement tell us’ through their word choice what they know. So, I was curious about the author specifically stating that a petrol bomb would be used instead of simply stating they would bomb the church. It made me think that there is a connection to cars. I would be interested to know whether the church had sufficient parking, and whether the services created a lot of traffic for the local area. I lived in a small village, in the UK and the church had no parking lot whatsoever. Cars would park on both sides of very narrow country lanes. I can see how a resident might become very frustrated.
    The other thought I had was that the petrol bomb followed the demand for them to immediately stop all services. Is it significant that the author thinks a petrol bomb would be the easiest and fastest response. The author seems to prefer the idea of stabbing the congregation because he goes into more detail and it was not just his first thought. I felt more anger and distain directed at the church congregation as the letter went on. It was almost like he was working himself up the more he thought on it.
    The author also seemed to spell out exact instructions using ‘straight away ‘ and ‘all’ services to ensure there is no doubt what he wants or no loophole. He seems to expect they will try to get around his demands, which makes him warn them off trying anything.
    I think stabbing is often connected with sex when profiling criminals?
    This was very interesting. Thank you for another great video. Have you ever looked at the zodiac killers letters?

    He has a personal history with church, he has been personally aggrieved or hurt, perhaps an alter boy who has been abused. A knife is phallic. 'Members' is phallic.

  • @dottysaga4957
    @dottysaga4957 4 года назад

    Is it possible the threat is directed at one specific person considering the use of you and your? if so then the letter could be a secret message to that one person. not a threat to the whole group (church) Also this person might still be there among everybody (in the church) because they are assuming a back up plan is in place to meet in secret. The person might be within the church committee itself.
    If there are 15 letters it is almost like a strange "love affair". I know who you are and you know who I am.
    This in my view can not be driven by Muslim extremist because of the usage of the words "service" and "congregation" these words are used accurately from the point of somebody raised in a Christian church. This in my view is not likely to be associated with somebody who was abused in a catholic church. Then it would be clear the church belongs to the pope. The target is completely different. Also somebody abused in the catholic church will go back there if they want to direct their anger at "an abuser" from there.
    Only speculating. This is a woman over 50 (letter writing is old fashioned). They are there in the church right now. The question is did the person receiving the letters keep it secret at first knowing where it came from and then was forced by others to show it openly? The secret language between the one that threatens and the receiver is the strange (I think) reference "one by one". All speculations on my behalf not scientific in any way.

    Hello Peter don't know if you will get this. Jennifer Dulos was reported missing more than 6 months ago and has not been seen since. It was suspected her husband killed her. He killed himself last week but in his suicide note made no admissions only said he didn't do it. It may be worth analyzing his call to police for clues. I wonder if his wife has gone to ground waiting for him to be imprisoned (for something if not murder), or if she is in fact dead. 2017 call to police here with ruclips.net/video/27jgmpeoHYQ/видео.html. Thank you.

    A British person would almost certainly write 'petrol' and not 'petro'.. and the English use shows a low level of education. I wonder if the author has a group if attackers who could carry this out.. could the church have some new converts in it that the author hates the idea of? Sounds all very vengeful.

    It's petrol bombed, not petro bombed!!! The millennial generation tend to get words or meanings mixed up, and their spelling is often bad as well. You could say it was just an omission of the letter L, but most people tend to reread what they write before sending, and it would have been a simple fix to slot an L in there. I'm thinking they thought it was actually spelt that way! Which makes me think age 30-35 is the maximum age potential, although I think they're younger than that.....
    I'm thinking male, comes from a fairly steady family background, maybe with both parents or the mother and step dad, decent people but not a lot of money, parents are not great achievers in life/education/career but are not lazy, just working class, probably mother nagging son to better himself, he's fed up hearing it from a mother who hasn't bettered herself in life, she's been supportive, but increasingly weary, worn out, distance has come between them and she has lost emotional understanding of her child, who I also think may be the eldest of her children - possibly by quite an age gap. I imagine younger siblings and step dad may have occupied her mind in recent years, and so the eldest child feels "different" and has gotten moody, distant, frustrated and resentful.
    This having been his family background, I now think he is in his 20's. For some reason I don't think there is a history of sexual abuse, I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the reason... I'm seeing one of three scenarios in my mind:
    1/ That the family has become recently involved in the church, perhaps mum, or both parents, have become religious so he is resentful of the divide between theirs and his beliefs.
    2/ That church has always played a part in their lives, but he has reached a point where he is angry at the teachings of Christianity, because he resents and denies his homosexuality.
    3/ That he has become friends with youngish people who are Islamic, is contemplating converting, and he's decided he's suddenly "awake" as it were, like an epiphany regarding establishment and is angry at what he perceives of the church now his eyes have been "opened" to islam. I guess like a Muslim sympathiser you could say.
    I don't think he works, or holds down jobs for long. No further education. Hangs around with mates who are all a bit lost and disgruntled at life. Not a serious criminal as such, but been involved in dodgy dealings. He seeks attention, feels misunderstood, yearns to fit in and be respected by his peers, he wants to be one of the big boys but is more of a "hanger-on" than a leader. He is angry and resentful about something but hasn't got the balls to come out and say what it is directly, maybe because he's not comfortable accepting something within himself, misdirected anger and deep rooted resentment is what eats away at him and inability to accept his reasons why.
    Yep, my mind visualised all that from one short letter! Played like a video in my brain! Be interesting to see who it turns out to be! Probably a couple of teenage girls doing a prank or social media experiment, such as "Killer clowns are SOOOO last season darling, the new thing is anonymous letters to religious establishments" 😂😂😂

      @@007nadineL a strong indication is a probability, NOT a certainty! Besides, he didn't use the word "door", he used the phrase "behind closed doors" meaning in secret, implying he'd still know it even if they tried to hide it! The word door does not work without the "behind closed" in this instance, therefore I look at it as a 3-word idiom, rather than a word by itself! And I did hear the whole video, so I clearly heard Peter say that the word door can be linked to child abuse, I was giving *MY* opinion however, which I'm allowed to do! Hence why it's called a comments section, so that everyone can give their take on it. I 100% respect Peter, and listened very carefully to his knowledge and insight, but he also said very clearly, that to do his work properly, you HAVE to have 3 minimum people, at least 1 of them female, to ALL freely give their own interpretation for the best chance of finding the whole understanding. And this is MINE! No one has to agree with me, or each other. At no point did I claim to be right! If I'm wrong that's something for me to learn from so I can improve, but I did not need to have you try and "educate" me on something I'm already passionate about, and already have full respect for!

      I’m from London and I’ve never heard anyone drop the L from the end of the word petrol. We sometimes sound our Ls a little like a W (apparently so I’m told) and we do often drop the last letter of a word if it’s a T when we speak, but I can’t imagine a Londoner saying “Petro” and I’ve definitely never seen it written that way. I’ve only ever heard it called a “petrol bomb”. I would imagine it’s just a typo.

Do you not know as a professional that the Catholic Church has been infiltrated by evil men and women to attack Jesus and His people? Nevertheless, His Church will prevail.
