God's menu really changed the path of Stray Kids, marked the beginning of something great Although all the songs and styles they have are excellent and deserve the same recognition
That’s because they don’t particularly stick to the God’s menu formula throughout. So their later songs are a hit or miss. Take BLACKPINK for example. Ever since DDU DU DDU DU blew up, they’ve been incorporating the same formula in their music (at least in their title tracks) from Kill this love to How you like that. That’s how those girls were able to keep up the hype and be more successful. Once you establish your own sound, you gotta stick with it. Cuz that’s your signature sound that defines your group
This is why I love stray kids so much. They really care about the genuineness and the authenticity of each song they perform. Also being the first 4th generation group to have a million seller album, having youtube and spotify streams that back up their sales (1B and 2B respectively), yet they are so humble and they don’t even realise that they’re THAT good. I found stray kids at a very low time in my life and their music saved me. I will continue to support and love stray kids because I know that the emotions and feelings they convey through songs are all real and genuine. That is so rare in this industry and I wish more groups could have. but that is again what makes stray kids, stray kids. sorry for the long comment I just really really am so proud of how far Stray Kids have come and what they have achieved despite having a really tough and busy year. 스트레이 키즈 짱! 스키즈 화이팅! STAYing until the last step out.
the amount of times the boys said "wow" after hearing the questions show how fascinated they are to hear good genuine questions from an interviewer that are actually different and not the same basic questions they answer everywhere. Thank you Zach for actually taking the time to deeply look into their music and put together great questions. I can clearly tell that the boys are very comfortable during this interview
i love, love, love how zack not only asks the best questions but also lets the artists talk as much as they want. he always creates such a safe space for them to speak their minds and i'm always so happy to see his interviews
But omg Zack, he really asks the most needed questions ever. Every question was on point and like he cleared out all of the curiousity that was running inside my head in the most respectful fun manner😭 I'm so grateful you are amazing sir, hands down🙌♥️😭
this interview was the equivalent of 4 months of therapy the respect and interest he had for skz as artists and people and the way skz got to answer new questions and you could tell had a good time- I hope you do end up visiting SK and interview them again!
*Zach:* *I'm such a sheltered individual* *Han:* *Oh that's kinda the same with me* *Felix:* *Same with him (points at Han)* Introverts where you at? Hahaha 😂
I haven't seen Chan this happy in an interview setting for a long time. I think he really enjoyed these types of questions about their creative process, songs and albums. Big props to you and your team Zach, you guys work really hard to be thoroughly informed about the artists.
I love how the questions were so stray kids specific because they are actually the ones that have been making their own music since the beginning and not a lot of artist are as included in the creative process like skz are. not a lot of artists could answer even half of the questions that zach was asking. skz are truly a golden group, they are so versatile and passionate about what they do, it's always such a joy to listen to them talk about music because you can clearly see and feel how much they love what they do. thank you so much for such a great interview zach and I hope to see all of the members in your studio again soon!
Wow, Zach really does know how to conduct an interview...i'm really enjoying this one, listening to how skz produces their albums, their creative process, the messages that they want to convey through their music...it all came out through this interview
The correct amount of time has passed and it is time for Stray Kids to return to your show hopefully. They seem very comfortable with you and you ask insightful questions.
bang chan was actually the one who took parts in most of felix's iconic lines or verse. eg the one in ssick, christmas evel, even god's menu if im not mistaken.
I’m sure Stray Kids can push their opinions more after God’s Menu breakthrough, and now even more. Thanks you Zach for confirming about it. I remember the episode at Kingdom one time, when the company wanted them to perform Hellevator instead of Side Effects, and the kids has managed to convince their team. I’m happy that Stray Kids has found their identity and confidence.
That’s a man who actually does his job love how versatile and interesting his questions are. You can see how happy the kids are for actually get treated like artists and not a random kpop act. Thanks for making them feel good and for this great atmosphere!
It s probably a little stressful to do it during a live interview, 'cause u don't wanna make any mistakes speaking out loud, but I was actually really happy and impressed to hear him express himself so well in english. Of course Han and Changbin understand english too and both shared their opinions in korean, but Seungmin was really amazing for talking in english, hearing him just makes me feel warm~
@@BettercallSyrio his English is good. He was an After Scholl Club MC for sometimes. AFC is a English speaking tv program in case you don't know this program.
It makes me so happy that he not only researches these 8 men and their music, but actually asks them relevant questions. He's a great interviewer and I'm SO happy that he's taken an interest in our boys. They are truly amazing and talented, and they are honestly some of my favorite human beings ever. Hopefully in 2022 we will get another live interview. 😊😊😊
I love that the questions were more about how they produce music and their creative processes it’s sooo cool to hear Chan talk about it cause they rarely get the chance to speak about it so in depth
So Han and Lix are the chillers when they have a day off, watching Dramas/Movies/Videos. Chan is the sleeper, Changbin the Workouter and Seungmin the never stopping Vocalis.
It’s so cute how Chan loves the deep questions and appreciates them. but also the humor Zach has and makes them feel comfortable I lit can see how comfortable Felix is with the way he talks and does.
The interview I've been waiting for. I absolutely love how passionate Stray Kids are with their craft and their creativity to build these stories into wonderful music masterpieces - their last interview on the show was fantastic and love that they're back again as I love how every member gets a chance to speak too.
The way SKZ could go on forever with their career by the number of all the unreleased songs sitting on Chan's laptop, like we can't wait to hear everything! Thank you for this interview Zach, it was very informative and thorough, please have them again soon!
Zach is the only western interviewer i trust to interview kpop artists. I love the kids getting to talk about the important stuff they’re passionate about so much
Chan is such a lovely person. He is always making sure that the members understand what they are saying and always tries to include them in the conversation. And I can't put in words how much I enjoy seeing him talking so passionly about their music and their relationship as a group. Best leader indeed!
I always love watching Zach's interviews. He actually asks very good, smart questions. It shows that he actually did his research and put the effort to get to know the people he's interviewing. It never feels like a waste of time watching his interviews. Like this one, it really shows that he appreciates SKZ's crafts.
What I love about a Straykids interview is that they get to explain the music they made , they put their heart and soul into it and talk about the creative process in detail which is always so fascinating. To see them talk about the music they made and the brainstorming process is the best!!! Not many artist can do that
Honestly, I don’t understand the hate thrown at JYP by stays. He has time and time again shown how much he trusts them and gives them so much freedom to do what they want. Even when they weren’t selling well (and they really didn’t sell much if you look at sales in 2018 - 2019), he never took away their creative control and continued to trust their own vision and opinions. I’ve followed kpop very closely for a decade and this level of freedom and support is so, so rare, even within JYPE itself.
I mean stays and basically other people do not hate on him cause of SKZ but more because of his cringe moments, and many times it is not even hate but fun. But I understand what you mean. When you look at some meme videos about JYP you see meme comments but when you look at some vidos of him with SKZ or him (not performing) there are lots of good comments because we know that he cares about his idols.
It's start because there is the other fandom from our sunbae who create the chaotics "opinion" about their idol that they call it a "mistreat" and they judging JYPE and the pd-nim for bad reputation.. They're not just ask about justice, but it's also hating and discredit JYPE as an agency and pd-nim as a CEO. They trhew the hate and the hatred getting more widden untill the haters come to provoke more serious just like they doctrine Stays and all fandoms to just see the bad reputation of JYPE and pd-nim himself. That's unfair and i can say this is about the criminalization a company or a person. So many Stays like FOMO that Stray Kids will be had the same treatment like their idol in a future. They always said "be Careful" of JYPE or pd-nim to us. But it's like just not an advice. It's more like a suggest to hate JYPE and pd-nim. That's cruel In the end, "Some" Stays likes to join in the hatred and feels paranoia that Stray Kids will be treated like their idol. But the fact says different side.. Stray Kids, especially Chan is always give us warning to "BEHAVE" to everyone, it's not just for behave to the other idols and their fandoms, it's BEHAVE include to JYPE and pd-nim too. Chan once said on Chan's Room like "Don't blame jyp for anything, even though it's just for Wifi connection" so.. He wants us to give some respect but some Stays' are being fooled for the hatred they had spread. That's Ironic. But it's just "Some" Stays. I'm a stay too. I respect JYPE and pd-nim a lot as Stray Kids respect them. As they give Stray Kids madness Freedome for their music. I genuinely support the agency and pd-nim as well
People confuse the management of the divisions with park jing young's management, they belive that he is involved with pictures, music videos and general publicity of the artist, but the man is only the face and producer,, he helds power in who debut and what music they launch but not the rest of the marketing, but people simply doesnt understand that
seugmin english!!!! im loving it!! so cute, Felix being energetic, Han cute, Changbin so handsome as always, Chan best leader ever, thank you zach for another amazing interview! love!
Zach 10/10 interview. So detailed, pointed and relaxed. The guys too really thought about their answers, so genuine all round. It’s actually really hard to put every day actions and emotions into words like that, they were great! Chanie and Zach embodying the whole ‘if you have something nice to say, say it’ Always so appreciative ^^ Ahhh that was such a great interview as expected :D
And now we finally have the song that was supposed to be the title, the original God's menu, SUPERBOWL after three whole years. I'm glad superbowl could finally see the light. I hope we get to listen to all the songs that have ever been on Chan's laptop 💻🎹
why do i feel so emotional watching this interview? just look at how far they’ve become and how confident and happy they are talking about their own music, their own colour. I’m so proud of you guys Stray Kids
To all of those who hate JYP , as you can see he isn't always bad ! And there is something else that I need to mention , Straykids are literally one of the best self producing kpop group!!!!
I feel like he was kinda bad in the beginning cuz so many people ended up leaving jyp cuz of it and so he maybe learned from it n therefore treats his current and new artists with much more care than he originally did
@@fatimahrehman5681 I think a lot of former JYPe artists had problems with other management in the company and not so much with JYP himself. Like, several former artists have nothing bad to say about him. They usually have like embarrassing stories to share but not like real issues that resulted in them leaving.
I love the questions. And Chan is really a good leader. Not just he speaks for the group, but he also includes his members, helping them translating their opinions, and he's a good speaker too.
Watching this after Five Star album is released and hearing them speak about the other song (16:18) that was to be on the album, knowing now that it's Superbowl!! Love it!! 😂❤
Honestly, I can't even express well how I enjoy interviews with Zach. Stray Kids have done a lot of interviews and tv shows to promote their music, but I can't help but feel like Zach makes the questions that really matter. As a listener to an album full of songs that are unique, relatable, and fun, It's refreshing to know how the music that I love so much is made, how the process was, what are their thoughts about the music that has already come out and how they view their own work. It's one thing to listen and keep up with their work with your own opinions and perspectives, but to be able to listen about how they view everything and work it's amazing. I stopped everything I was doing just to listen to the questions and answers, and I don't usually do that haha Thank you so much, Zach!
The video quality may only be 720p, but the interview is 1080p. Thank you Zach for always showing genuine interest in their work, asking unique questions, and making them feel comfortable.
ISTG changbin is not known for his smart mind enough. this guy came up with HeLlevator which is absolutely genius. i was not surpried to see that NOeasy was also his creation.
Watching this it shows me again how much of input CHANGBIN has when comes to ideas and concepts. He's such a creative and inspiring person really. HANDSOME too, like seriously I couldn't look aways from him. THANK YOU ZACH for this interview, it's great to finnaly watch something and understand what they're saying haha
I've rewatched the first interview so many times cause I love how comfortable the kids are with Zach and how Zach always has such great questions, I'm so excited!
I’m honestly a Zach Sang stan at this point, he’s the best interviewer out there I will actually fight you if you disagree. I love how he always does his research and seems genuinely so invested and curious in the artists and what they create. He asks such interesting and clever questions and it was so nice getting to know stray kids more from the artistic point of view, since they don’t really ever get a chance to talk about their creative process. They’re really one of a kind and I’m glad Zach acknowledges that and gives them the opportunity to explain why they’re so unique and amazing. Also the kids seemed so comfortable and it was nice seeing them just chatting about their accent and cardigans loll This interview is just top tier, keep it up Zach and Stray Kids, you’re doing an amazing job, I’m so so proud of you and to be a stay
I strongly agree with you. Zach Sang does his research before interviewing someone. Like if you had your own show and you are about to interview a group or artist and it's there first time on your show, you definitely need to do research and know about the artist that you are about to interview.

This interview gave them a chance to be more serious and talk about their music and inspiration. Love that they enjoyed and appreciated the intelligent questions. It really highlighted how each of them are so involved in the creative process and are committed expressing their individuality.

Im crying rn 🥲
the amount of times the boys said "wow" after hearing the questions show how fascinated they are to hear good genuine questions from an interviewer that are actually different and not the same basic questions they answer everywhere. Thank you Zach for actually taking the time to deeply look into their music and put together great questions. I can clearly tell that the boys are very comfortable during this interview
I love the aussie jumping out of felix and chan IMMEDIATELY upon mention of accents/slang 😂❤
skz interviews are always so interesting bc they get to explain their music in a deeper level which not a lot of groups are able to do
You said the truth
True. I mean it's the music we're going after. Entertainment might just be the tip of the iceberg
True
i love, love, love how zack not only asks the best questions but also lets the artists talk as much as they want. he always creates such a safe space for them to speak their minds and i'm always so happy to see his interviews
They look relieved to finally be asked real questions. they seem so comfortable I love this😭🥺
finally a good interviewer that asks actual music questions and not basic bullshit like many others
Up..
"I mean.. we all share the same braincell. We are a mess and chaotic" CHAN REALLY BE EVERYWHERE ALL AROUND THE MEDIA
For real mannn 😂
Yess and now he changes his bubble status as "STAY are sick as 🤙" like he knows about each and every meme of this fandom 😂
*Zach:* *I'm such a sheltered individual*
*Han:* *Oh that's kinda the same with me*
*Felix:* *Same with him (points at Han)*
Introverts where you at? Hahaha 😂

The fact that Chan seemed so surprised that Zach had listened their songs says a lot about other interviews...
I haven't seen Chan this happy in an interview setting for a long time. I think he really enjoyed these types of questions about their creative process, songs and albums. Big props to you and your team Zach, you guys work really hard to be thoroughly informed about the artists.
i find it so cute how chan gets surprised and excited every time zach askes them about the producing process he's such a great artist
Wow, Zach really does know how to conduct an interview...i'm really enjoying this one, listening to how skz produces their albums, their creative process, the messages that they want to convey through their music...it all came out through this interview
the way Seungmin dances a little choreo for every song they mention🥺🥺🥺
The correct amount of time has passed and it is time for Stray Kids to return to your show hopefully. They seem very comfortable with you and you ask insightful questions.
ok but i love how skz can put random silly bits like felix never bad in their songs just cause they wanna 😆🥰 i'm glad they have that freedom yknow?
Lol ya.
Love to hear Bangchan is responsible for the “Felix never bad” line. Thanks Chan
I know right.....
Me too
He's not wrong tho, Feliz sound like Felix so if he ryme it the iconic line are born 😂
bang chan was actually the one who took parts in most of felix's iconic lines or verse. eg the one in ssick, christmas evel, even god's menu if im not mistaken.
that's truee
I love zach’s interviews he’s so calm and respectful and literally make the guests feel so comfortable!!
I love it when Seungmin speaks English, it's a shame he didn't speak much in this interview, his voice is so cute
Let my seungmin talk plz 🥺🥺🥺
Like more talking plzz
It s probably a little stressful to do it during a live interview, 'cause u don't wanna make any mistakes speaking out loud, but I was actually really happy and impressed to hear him express himself so well in english. Of course Han and Changbin understand english too and both shared their opinions in korean, but Seungmin was really amazing for talking in english, hearing him just makes me feel warm~
And his english is so good ??
@@BettercallSyrio yes he is fluent
@@BettercallSyrio his English is good. He was an After Scholl Club MC for sometimes. AFC is a English speaking tv program in case you don't know this program.
It makes me so happy that he not only researches these 8 men and their music, but actually asks them relevant questions. He's a great interviewer and I'm SO happy that he's taken an interest in our boys. They are truly amazing and talented, and they are honestly some of my favorite human beings ever.
Hopefully in 2022 we will get another live interview. 😊😊😊
He very likes having K-pop artists on his show. He interviewed so many like BTS, BP, Loona, Mamamoo, CL, Day6, Jackson Wang, and even TWICE.
Zach please do a new interview with Stray Kids. I wish all of their interviews were this focused on actual meaningful questions
It’s so cute how Chan loves the deep questions and appreciates them. but also the humor Zach has and makes them feel comfortable I lit can see how comfortable Felix is with the way he talks and does.
changbin coming up with noeasy and hellevator ... he's a lyrical genius and that's so hot.
I love the kids getting to talk about the important stuff they’re passionate about so much
The interaction between Zach and Stray Kids here is so wholesome. I'm happy the kids feel so comfortable.
*I can't take my eyes off of Han Jisung. Those layering, he slayed that.* 🔥
The more BangChan speaks the more his aussie comes out listen to him 12:02 "Domino-er" it's adorable 😍 ❤️
His questions are so on point and the beautiful things that he said about their songs are exactly what I want to say them as a fan.
I am so proud of Changbin! He knows how big he is becoming as an artist therefore he tries to communicate in English.
What I love about a Straykids interview is that they get to explain the music they made , they put their heart and soul into it and talk about the creative process in detail which is always so fascinating. To see them talk about the music they made and the brainstorming process is the best!!! Not many artist can do that
JYP won a jackpot with Stray Kids and it’s because of JYP’s support and trust these kids has come so far.
I’ve followed kpop very closely for a decade and this level of freedom and support is so, so rare, even within JYPE itself.
well said.
@@Naty.628 its not fun tbh. stays sometimes even mock his appearance.
That's cruel
In the end, "Some" Stays likes to join in the hatred and feels paranoia that Stray Kids will be treated like their idol. I genuinely support the agency and pd-nim as well
People confuse the management of the divisions with park jing young's management, they belive that he is involved with pictures, music videos and general publicity of the artist, but the man is only the face and producer,, he helds power in who debut and what music they launch but not the rest of the marketing, but people simply doesnt understand that
The Changbin/Felix moment at 39:00 made me smile so much. Stray Kids is precious.
I died at 31:25😭😝🥺🥰👑😘
@@STAY_4EVER8 omg I can't believe I missed that!! Its so precious ♡♡
@@pandawon-u9072 yeaa i almost cried , my heart just melt🥺
Love that JYP gives them the creative freedom and also fully supports their decisions when releasing music
For that and more I love Stray KIDS ...And to your company
seugmin english!!!! im loving it!! so cute, Felix being energetic, Han cute, Changbin so handsome as always, Chan best leader ever, thank you zach for another amazing interview! love!
Zach 10/10 interview. So detailed, pointed and relaxed. The guys too really thought about their answers, so genuine all round. It’s actually really hard to put every day actions and emotions into words like that, they were great!
Chanie and Zach embodying the whole ‘if you have something nice to say, say it’ Always so appreciative ^^
Ahhh that was such a great interview as expected :D
Yes...I agree with you
I feel like he was kinda bad in the beginning cuz so many people ended up leaving jyp cuz of it and so he maybe learned from it n therefore treats his current and new artists with much more care than he originally did
tbh I don’t think JYP is the problem.. I think its the division they artist is under, which maybe that mistreats them and makes them leave.. but idk
@@fatimahrehman5681 I think a lot of former JYPe artists had problems with other management in the company and not so much with JYP himself. Like, several former artists have nothing bad to say about him. They usually have like embarrassing stories to share but not like real issues that resulted in them leaving.
that's a good point, god's menu rly set the stage for everything that came after. an immortal album full of bangers 🔥
Love it!! 😂❤
Bruh imagine Chan is sitting on goldmine ,,that laptop of his …should be protected with heavy security cause it’s stray kids future and superpowers
Changbin really is the representation of international stays during Korean interviews here lol
@maria seo yeah, he said that he understands almost everything in english but he can't speak it very well

I stopped everything I was doing just to listen to the questions and answers, and I don't usually do that haha
Thank you so much, Zach!
The video quality may only be 720p, but the interview is 1080p. Thank you Zach for always showing genuine interest in their work, asking unique questions, and making them feel comfortable.
ISTG changbin is not known for his smart mind enough.
this guy came up with HeLlevator which is absolutely genius. i was not surpried to see that NOeasy was also his creation.
changbin is really genius with how often he has come up with smart wordplays for their songs and album names for eg: venom, sorikkun, god's menu etc
@@skzanarchist where did you find out he came up with venom and gods menu?
"why a christmas album?" chan: "why not??"
"U did this for what?"
"Why not?
"But why?"
"Why not?"
"But why tho?"

Also the kids seemed so comfortable and it was nice seeing them just chatting about their accent and cardigans loll
This interview is just top tier, keep it up Zach and Stray Kids, you’re doing an amazing job, I’m so so proud of you and to be a stay
I strongly agree with you. Zach Sang does his research before interviewing someone. Like if you had your own show and you are about to interview a group or artist and it's there first time on your show, you definitely need to do research and know about the artist that you are about to interview.

That fact that Zach’s show was canceled is just bullsh*t. He is the best interviewer nowadays, just genuine and thought through interviews.
what happened??
I loved kingdom, and actually end up watching it a year later, at least, since it had been released. I did not know who had won it,even . It is my favorite comfort watch. So many incredibly good performances by all the bands
They're so unique, I feel like stray kids are so different from other kpop groups, I hope they become bigger
You can really tell they're impressed with the questions asked. I love when they actually have to pause and think about their answers!
"how do you know a song is done" thats such a good question!! kinda like figuring out the time when a painter has to stop fixing his work
This interview gave them a chance to be more serious and talk about their music and inspiration. Love that they enjoyed and appreciated the intelligent questions. It really highlighted how each of them are so involved in the creative process and are committed expressing their individuality.
16:04 and now “Superbowl” is in their recently released album “5 Star” :))
it truly has been a YEAR for SKZ and STAY! So proud of SKZ!
it is funny how excited stays are because this is the first international interview we're getting after a long time

Thank you Zach for asking insightful questions about their music and passion, it really makes me happy seeing them talk so passionate about what they do and how they love it!
This is such an amazing interview… the questions are so incredibly thoughtful, you can tell how much the boys appreciated them. I would absolutely love to see all the boys do another interview with Zach to talk about 5-star - they’ve grown so big yet remain so humble about their success, it would be amazing to hear how their experiences working with each other and with the creative process have evolved 🩵
