Funny, I also got into amp tech'ing the same time I became a dad. There's something to those couple of hours by yourself after the kid has been put to bed that lends itself to those kind of long term projects that you can think about in the back of your head throughout the day :-)
On a smaller scale, the last 2 years have been spent building all the vintage amps I could never afford. Bassmans, plexis, trainwrecks,5e3, etc.. I kind of know how you feel . I've enjoyed your videos very much. Here's to 2025 !
@YeatzeeGuitar just about to gut a 2002 59 bassman and handwire it. I think hour video gave me the idea 💡 If you ever build . Try a trainwreck. So awesome
Yeah man, sorry the Super was a such a headache. It was surprising on my end too. I was playing it for about 2-3 hours when the smell and heat was super noticeable… turned the amp around and that tube was bright cherry red. In the end I’m glad you were able to sort it out. I still play it VERY often and for long stints usually and just adore it. It and the 61 Vibrolux have just ruined me on new amps and most competing amps in general. They’re just sooooo good.
Cheers Tanner! Been loving the content this past year! Also thank you for those repairs! I still would be scratching my head on these amps if it weren't for ya!
Happy New Year Tanner! Hope 2025 is just a good of a year for your channel, it's by far one of my favorites. Yes, I'd love to see a breakdown on the Fryette Power station as I too struggle with getting a reliable solo boost live. I've normally used an EQ pedal into an effects loop but that doesn't work for all my amps. Edit: I'm with you on only playing real tube amps, there's NO modeler that sounds even close to a real tube amp live.. NONE and I will never switch!! Lol Edit 2: Congrats on the upcoming little one!!
Thank you sir! The PS100 is the answer if you use NMV amps turned up to where you lose the headroom for big solo boosts. I've tried treble boosters, EQ, all sorts of different drive pedals and the Fryette is by far the most effective. Highly recommend!
So much awesome, I can smell the hot tubes! The only thing better than a healthy pile of vintage amps is that sweet little girl. And congrats on the new addition to the Fam! Happy 2025 and I'm looking forward to watching some more videos of you using the amps live. Crank it!
I have enjoyed watching your channel and your journey. Love hearing these amps being used…jealous. I have two amps that get used, but never dialed into their sweet spot. Congratulations on your family, and continued success. All the best!
Discovered the channel a month ago. Just fenomenal stuff!!! Congrats and please, keep it up!! Super cool!! And yeah… a PS video with the Bassman would be great! Let’s rock 2025!

An incredible year in many ways. My mind is still blown that I own a 1959 Bassman. Appreciate you guys following along with the journey!

Nice! That's one thing I've not tried yet, building my own amp. Appreciate it, thanks for sticking around!

@@soapboxearth2 Nice! I really like the reissue bassmans I've played, that's a cool project to handwire one.
Would love to hear a reissue, or clone, up against your ‘59 bassman.
Congratulations on a great year and gear but mostly on being a dad! The most meaningful thing I have ever been able to part of.

Beautiful story and backdrop. Wish I could share the aroma from those vintage beauties. All the best

👏 What a lineup!
Definitely do a video on the fryette!
I'd love to hear Red House or Little Wing through your '59 (strat neck pickup).
(Do you take requests?) ; )
I'm a poor strat / jimi impersonator unfortunately :/
@@YeatzeeGuitar I'd love to hear your take on RH if the inspiration strikes ; )
You did all that and have a kid 😮
