I had a blessed weekend, worshipping with my family and friends. It was great to worship with wonderful ministers as Brian and Jenn Johnson, Jad Gilies, Amanda Cook, and Matt Crocker. Looking forward to 2024!

Wow! Yet another amazing time together. A huge thank you, @bigchurchfestival for all the planning, organising & wonderful opportunity to gather. We're about to book 2024 tickets, bringing a bigger group! Can't wait for the line up announcements to begin. In the meantime have a restful summer 🙏 🤲
I'm back home from a weekend at the "Big Church day out". Three worship songs in: I was, well, I was done. I wanted to leave and go to another stage, but guess what; the music at the other stages was similar. There is nothing more unappealing to me than absolute faith. Faith, to be of any worth, has to encompass an element of doubt and uncertainty. Jesus came to help the bums, the vulnerable and the whores. You'll find God in the slums of Somalia, those recovering from genocide and in all mothers reconciling with their sons. I'm all for finding some joy in life, joy, however, has to be paired with a degree of suffering and squeaky clean super confident Christians preaching love just doesn't float my boat. I personally did not feel gods' presence at the church big day out. Nice flags, mind you.
About the flags, one more color variation and they're gonna look like the woke flags you see brandished by those people who hate Christianity and its teachings. Big Church Festival is at its slippery slope. Will still be going this year, just wanted to see Chris Tomlin mainly
