Kumander Daot, I gotta tell yah I really enjoyed watching your videos. I get to tour the Philippines without being there. In my opinion, you are doing us a great favor. I virtually get to travel without spending time, money and trouble to get to those interesting places. It's impossible for most Filipinos like me to get to see the whole country but you're making it possible for us. You're unique and doing a fantastic job! You are always lively and bubbly. I'm glad to see you having so much fun over there. I love that you showed a lot of enthusiasm and love for our country and our people. I hope one of these days you get to explore more of Luzon including Hundred Islands, Baler, Subic and Bataan- a lot of history there. Keep it up! Please be safe all the time especially when getting on that Motorcycle😅. Happy Travels!☺️🧭🏍️🛣️🚙🛥️🛬 Thanks for sharing your videos. I appreciate it! 👍
The seaside is equally stunning as the hinterland. That handcrafts sold on the road was quite a masterpiece. You could've got one of those hats......if it fits on your head. :)
The quality of your videos have come a long way from when you first started your channel. You've got great drone shots, great camera work, clear audio with matching background music and of course your made-for-the-opera voice narrating the journey. Very impressed!👏
Yeah, KD. You are mastering the documentary camera and editing work. I'm very happy for you. You feel the documentary fiber as you put it together. You feel and work with the dynamics while you face the subjects. I sow you yesterday in Kulas vlog. Keep it up, big guy
My father was soldier and their battalion was stationed there in Silvino Lobos in the early 90’s. The only way to get there is by foot. Yes, we trekked mountains and rivers just to get to Silvino from Mondragon. We used to play with kids there and people there are so kind and friendly. I remember the hill and the church. I also remember an amphitheater just below the hill where the mayor’s house was located. I really hope to go back there in Silvino Lobos in the near future. ❤
Truly fantastic mate! 👌 Picturesque & giving your audience deep insights of the villages. It's truly educational abt how the Palawan was harvested, prepared, and cooked. Healthy. And kids love your friendliness too. I doubt foreigners hardly go there. Bottom line, another wonderful episode of Samar. ✨👌✌️
The early morning drone views with the low hanging clouds are magical and beautiful! Looked like those people were doing the motorbike version of the Rainforest Challenge. 8:44 Palawan reminds me of taro. If it is taro, it's a variant of the taro found in Hawaii that is used to make poi. The one you were eating has a white flesh, while the one in Hawaii is darker colored and when pounded to make poi is a purplish grey color.
Similar to taro... but different, I'd say! Same same but different haha. It's got its own distinct flavour! I was actually thinking about the Rainforest Challenge with all these rivers haha! The fog was absolutely incredible... something I won't forget!
@@KumanderDaot "Same same but different" was my take on it, too. haha! Similar shaped leaf, grows the same way with the corm at its root, which is also eaten.
Ingat & keep safe kumander Daot😍😍.. luv it your vlogs even me as a Filipino first saw the actual view of that place tnx your vlog now I see the place that I could not reach before. 💖💖😘😘
KD loved the part when you were pounding the Palawan and the kids were cheering you on!!! That was precious Anselm, you really showed how kind and caring you are and You looked amazingly good. You were fantastic, well done❤❤❤❤🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏
Thank you so much for sharing your video from Samar-I enjoy watching your videos. My mother was from Samar Lapinig near Gamay. I was in Lapinig last 1984.God bless.Kumander Daot.Watching from Denmark.
Frog legs lami kaayo! Here in Louisiana they are common and readily available on most any night. Many RUclips videos on catching cleaning and cooking them
In southern quezon palawan is known as "galiang". In many parts of the visayas and mindanao its "paw". Its really best pounded known in the bisayas as "nilupak". Sometimes they are made in "suman" or "budbud".
Deja Vu, been here 20 years ago and am seeing same structure and not so familiar faces, but the good thing is there is a road already going to Silvino Lobos. Way back then we have to ride on a boat and trek the river upstream for 8 hours.
Mr. Plummer...23 degrees, eh? You should have been wearing your Baguio hat, instead you appeared to be wearing an Amigo hat. And flying your drone in foggy weather... did you forget what happened at Lake Holon? Using Moses' staff to make mabyao...babyao, that's brave. Watch out for lighting strikes, eh. I think your security detail was the only thing protecting you from a random lighting strike. BTW. The beauty of that land and sea are stunning. It's great to be alive!
Bai anselm scout for biringan city.. This towns are rarely visited, due to accessability.. now they have roads hopefully i can visit this year… tnx for the info kumander d.
