I don't think I mentioned it on the vid but it's been confirmed that 15 of the 19 species will be exclusive to the map

I honestly hope we don’t get another legendary catfish I love karoo she is my favourite legendary but a third one would feel a bit disappointing

Im very excited especially about the new salmonoid fish. but all the other species sound very very cool especially the crab as i really like crustaceans. May be because i used to net them a lot as a kid.

Looking into freshwater dwelling eels in japan i was able to find one species that would fit that beeing the japanese eel (Anguilla japonica) the olly issue beeing that they are not very present in Hokkaido but i can still see them beeung present on the map.
I think you are probably right, they would be the smallest eel we've gotten so far.

This looks really exciting! Hopefully we have a lot of salmon and trout fishing because that is pretty fun. I honestly really think each species will have it's own pose which is cool(or you will be able to customize it like you said). Really wonder what the other species are.

This map promises man
Every fish is an exact copy of same fish. Just like the lures, there are like 8 lures. Just different sizes, same lures. Lack of fishing equipment. They creat 1 version of fish, boats, and lures and change the skin or change the size of the lures to create the illusion of variety. This game could be much better if it was EXPANSIVE Lol and all the community says is I’m hating on the game.
