I’ve been on this ride at every Disney park in the world that has it and Disneyland Paris has the best version by far. On my last day there I rode it at least 4 times!
When I go to disney the 18 to 20th june of this year, I do btm a lot, (because this is my fav attraction) and the second day, I do this ride the night at 23pm during the fireworks, we was 5-6 people in the train, and during all the ride, I see the fireworks, can't explain how beautiful this was, that was the best moment of my life, during de best period of my life ! Thank's disneyland paris
This version was the first one designed as part of the park at opening, the others were added sometime after park opening and had to be designed to fit into existing parks. It's cool to see what they could do with this ride with no limitations! Hopefully I can get to Paris one day.
Having just been to DLP for the first time this week and riding all the rollercoasters in both the Park and Studios many times, this coaster was my favourite. Brilliant!
@@zoeymonks9264 Walt Disney Studios is a separate park right next to Disneyland Paris. The tickets we had covered entry into both parks so we could enter and exit as we pleased.
This is the best one. It's big enough where the mountain doesn't look stupid and there isn't a crowd staring at you all the time, and it improves on the Florida version with splash elements and more thoughtful theming, nor does it half-ass it like Florida. The subtle lake tunnel was also a nice way to really separate the world of Big Thunder from the park. You also get a much better view from the ride.
Whole different ride experience at dusk, esp when you ride with 'Shot in the dark' or 'Crazy train' In your ear 😅 The last leg of the ride is the best- dark tunnel and acceleration!!
Are these vids taken on special days,or times of yr? It looks so empty compared to Disneyworld Fl. Hf the rides no one is even in line..I might spring for $$ tickets to France & go just for that alone, rather than waiting sometimes over 2 hrs in line at US ones...for EVERY ride.
Back in the late 80s, my friend worked loading people onto this ride at Disneyland . When he saw us in line he asked " what are you doing here"? This ride went off the tracks 3 times this week l.
Does it have a loop? I hate rollercoaster but taking my 7 year old next month and would love to go on this and face my fears but if it goes upside down definitely won’t be going on
I would say space mountain might be good for a first loop though. Mainly because you're focused on the visual effects you don't realise you're upside down.

@@brain-_ sorry to disappoint but big thunder mountain is pretty forceless, hyperspace mountain in the other land is wayy more forceful
Me: Pathetic, ive been on it 10 times!

Splash water effect and dynamite fog effect are soooo good. Best immersive coaster

Did you do the haunted house at night too? It's the best moment to go on that one too as there aren't many people at night 👍
@@joebenzz yes also and that's beautiful !
I adooooore this amazing ride since 2003 😊
The best Big Thunder in the world 👍
Disneyland Paris has the best version of this ride. It’s so much better than US parks. Absolutely amazing ride and it will always be my favorite one

I love that ride!!
You can here the hum of the neoprene coaster wheels. Great attraction over 20 years since I’ve been back can’t wait.
You've got some really clear nice quality videos on this channel!
This is the best version of Big Thunder Mountain.

When you think it's gonna end it doesn't in my opinion that is the best ride at Disney ❤
Magnifique, Merci
j'adore cette attraction
I often forget how well themed big thunder mountain at Disneyland Paris is
I can’t wait to try this ride! It looks awesome! Thought 5 minutes wait. What time of the day did you go to it?
Mia preferita di sempre!
Looks more fun at night
Went on this at sunset and it was scarier than I expected 😭
What happens in the dark bit
WOWWWW

I don't like the "stomach void" effect of rollercoasters. Does it have this?
Yes 2 times, during the "splash" before the 2nd climb, and another one before the last climb
No there is no stomach void

not in Paris you were not, since it opened in 92. Cool story tho
Welcome to Thunder Mesa.
I've always wondered why Disney didn't "plus" those long empty tunnels to and from the island?
tunnels are expensive to build?
I miss all the water effects on the Florida version.
Hold up... Waiting line for 5 minutes? I'm so jalouse! Stood there for 80 minutes.
