Als konfessionsloser Mensch empfinde ich diese Kantorengesänge als Inbegriff des Ausdrucks von Gottesverehrung ,in ihrer so großen Schönheit und meisterhaften Größe des Gesangs.

Moshe Koussevitzky was a related to me through my mother's of blessed memory side. Of the 40000 pre WWII Jews of Vilna less than 400 remained. Many of whom escaped by crawling for hours through pitch black darkness in the stench of the sewers to the forests to form Jewish partisan groups. One such group was led by Abba Kovner z"l. Betrayed by the Soviet Partisans and the Lithuanians they survived the Nazis and later the betrayal of the British some made their way to Eretz Yisrael. Some founded DIN Dahm Yisrael Nokeam "HaNakam" the Avengers. When we say "Never Again" it does NOT mean a memory we take very real revenge on those who try to kill us. Am Yirael Chai!
