Yes super market earns and especially the Corporate like Reliance D Mart earns more....but small suppliers will die because of these super Markets.... These guys will ask 60% Markdown and also with that they will ask 1+1 offer as well....they will sell it but suppliers will be in loss..i ve face this issue.....also all supermarket target only Micro industry they will ask huge margine saying that they have heavy expenses....dont that supplier has his expenses???? Im one of the manufacturer and i have faced this issue with D Mart and few chain stores as welll.....
