Although I have come to love the newer generations in recent years, gen 1 will always be top dog. Everytime i see a Gengar i get so nostalgic thinking back to watching the very first episode of Pokémon

That store is awesome. First generation will always hold a special place in my heart, since that's what I grew up with.
Kanto by a mile, not just for the 151 but the individual ones like Misty's Psyduck, Starmie, Goldeen, Brock's Onix, Geodude, Vulpix, Sabrina's Kadabra, Blaines Magmar, Surges Raichu, and personal favorites like Dragonite and Gengar. There are just so many great 'mon that established the whole franchise

Generation 1 Will always be my fav. Mom used to work at Kmart back in the days. I would remember she would always come home with Pokemon boxes and packs!! Childhood memories ❤
Mine is definitely the 2nd Gen. My first contact with Pokémon was with Pokémon Crystal. I spent HOURS playing and was SO surprised to battle the first-gen gym leaders after the Elite Four. I just started collecting a year ago thanks to you. Believe me when I say that it was the best decision. Opening any booster pack is the best feeling in the world.

Easily my favorite gen is what started it all, GEN 1. And favorite game just to add to it is fire red. Just so awesome to relive the og games we played as kids.

gen 3 is my favorite generation, to me the amount of hours i dropped into sapphire is unreal... so many fond memories playing those games and how they let me escape from the world at the time

Gen 1. I remember walking into the cafeteria at school when i was young. I met one of my best friends that day, till this day. He had Pokemon Red and i had Blue. We would always open all the old packs. Much ❤.
Gen 1 will forever be my favorite. Because it's the 1st thing that my sister showed me to play, and to this day, I still collect them and am able to teach my kids how to battle.
Gen 1 forever, I'm old haha. It's funny as an Australian finding out we had different colours on our fossil packs, remember them fondly from when I was a kid
Gen 2 is my favourite. I remember getting Gold for Christmas 2000 and rushing to finish the game, only to find there was an entire second region to explore (or revisit). Total nostalgia.
Favourite Gen would def be 1 because of the growing up with it factor .. but for cards I remember LOVING the transition from gen 1 to 2
Nostalgia is really strong and its hard to not to pick Gen 1 as my favorite...so yup even with some newer gen being awesome as well, I gotta go with Gen 1 being my favorite of all time!

Born 1990 in NJ USA. Gen1 started it all. Nothing can ever come close to the OG explosion of Pokémon.

Gen 2 for sure. The Totodile is my favorite starter ever and the Legendary Pokemon are the best they’ve ever made in my opinion!

Those Topps cards are the cards I used to collect when I was a kid, I have way more of them than tcg cards.

gen 1 i grew up with the original 151. I remember running home after school to watch the original Pokemon.
My favorite generation of pokemon will always be Gen 2. I played the card game from the start but gen 2 was when i got a game boy and didn't know what i was doing. I feel in love with my cyndaquil and umbreon to the point when ever i catch them now, i still nickname the first one i catch of them sonic and foxy like i did when i was per teen
Gen 3 is where I started my Pokemon journey... playing the games like Emerald and even the ex era cards are just nostalgic to me which makes up most of my childhood
Definitely gotta be Gen 7 (Alola), I just love the starters and versions of older Pokemon like Alolan Geodude. And don't get me started on Lunala, absolute beast

Gen 1 fan always. It's my childhood, so it just takes me back. I can almost go back to when I first opened my first boost pack. Didn't hit anything good, but it didn't matter. The collector spark started then and there.
Gen 3 is my fave! Played sapphire a lot after school. My brothers are older so they played a lot of gen 1 and 2 but I was too little to comprehend was was going on

Gen 3! while I did play the Ogs as a kid I have never played a game more than Pokémon emerald and there was no better feeling than finally landing a Feebas to get a Milotic.

Of course anything Eevee related is my favorite set, so Evolving Skies is top of any series!! But I absolutely love multitudes of Gen 1 over anything of course!!

Gen 1 will always hold a special place in my heart. I grew up in the 90's and I'll always remember pulling 2 first edition Charizard's out of 2 packs I got from Walmart. I wish I still had those.

I grew up with Gen one, Pokémon red on my Gameboy, instantly fell in love with Bulbasaur, never evolved him thru my first few playthrus but that's ny favorite memory of Pokémon so Gen 1 always!

Generation 2 will always be my favorite. It has my favorite legendary, Lugia. It has my favorite starters, and it has access to all my favorite gen 1 Pokemon. What’s not to love?
2nd generation has some of the best pokemon. To begin with all 3 starters. Even though they aren’t good they were really cool to have. And many evolutions. Really amazing generation

Gen 2! Has the best games (Gold/Silver), and was right in the sweet spot for when I was getting into Pokemon. Loved this shop tour! 😊
Honestly Gen 2 is definitely my favorite! Once I seen the movie Pokémon 4ever between Suicune Celebi and Tyranitar I knew gen 2 was going to go down as my all time favorite!

Generation 3 will forever be my favorite generation. So hard to choose between mudkip, treeko and torchic. All final evolutions are amazing. Can't forget that Pokemon Emerald is an amazing GBA game.
Gen 1 I collect the first 151 Pokemon. Right now my personal binder is worth nearly 10k with cards from base set all the way up to new age. It's like a thick gen 1 pokedex. Would love to show you sometime.

For me it’s Gen 3. I spent the most time on those games. Sapphire, LeafGreen, and Colosseum. I probably had close to 1,000 hours on them.

Favorite Gen has to be Gen 1. I started with Pokemon Blue. The Gameboy Color and Game were the first things I purchased with money I made myself.
