Not traditionally, what I meant was in general they take it a lot from the style they are seeing on the African Americans in America or who they see in magazines/TV/movies etc. America is a huge influence of style in China, Korea, Japan, etc.
porn actresses bring shame to their families and their descendants especially the children who would get bullied because of their mother or grandmother being a porn actress sometime ago.
I grew up in an affluent part of Los Angeles. Once, when I was in graduate school, I was late to pay my electricity bill. The city sent me a notice that they would shut it off that day. So, I went to the office to pay. There, I met a man who told me he thought I should do modeling. He was a photographer and would do some pictures for free. I was young and flattered. So, I went a week later to get pictures taken. It started off normal but got kinky after a while--wanted me to try on swimwear, underwear. I just took the film out of his camera and exposed it to the light. I had no clue at the beginning but it suddenly occurred to me that this was headed in a porn-y direction. And whenever I passed by that office, I noticed that the same guy was hanging around approaching young, good-looking guys.
Kinda sad that some people (even worse, other women) would just blame the victimized women for being too naive when they're already the ones being deceived.
She's right and you're wrong. Stop always playing the victim. The problem with majority of women is that they don't want to acknowledge they are at fault or partly at fault. You think you are saints that you can never be blame? The reason we are being educated is to prevent and stop us from being victims of scams etc. If you still want to be naive and gullible, it is totally tour fault. For example, if your teachers taught you in school to prepare you for your exam, but you slack and ignorance about it and you fail your exams, are your teachers to blame or the exams to blame for your failure? None. It is your fault for slacking and not studying. So don't go and cry and blame your teachers or exams for making you fail. It is your own undoing.
@@bigbadcalamity721 I don't think being naive or gullible is great. Obviously, I think educating people so they can avoid getting scammed is important. But how is it that between the women and these scammers, the women are more to blame? Scammers who are intentionally out there to deceive people shouldn't be blamed? They're not wrong? Women should stop being gullible but scammers are okay to keep on scamming? Also, the comparison to a teacher is quite unfair. A teacher doing his/her job to prepare exams is not the same thing as a scammer intentionally trying to trick and deceive people into doing something they didn't sign up for.
@@paigenysy Well their job is to scam. Of course it's wrong to us, but not to them. But they are not forcing you. They don't put a gun to your head and force you to become porn stars, right? And goodness sake, no one is saying it is ok for them to keep on scamming. Don't spin off words and making them up just to make yourself blameless. Sorry if this offend you but i think you are a little dumb you are missing my point. It is not about the teachers, it is about yourself. You are responsible for the decisions you made. If you slack and didn't study. You know some exam questions are hard and tricky to mislead you into mistakes. So is it going to become the exams fault?
@@bigbadcalamity721 so if a killer stabs you to death, then it is your fault because you didn't learn to protect yourself? Yes, no one is forcing them but the issue was never about forcing them. The issue was about being lied to and scammed. Again, the goal of the exam is to test you to become a better student. The goal of a scammer is to purposefully deceive and lie to a human being. Again, they aren't the same thing. Well, it's too bad you can't argue politely on a social platform without insulting others and calling them dumb. Have a good day, sir.
You are right. This bothered me too especially coming from women! I don't care if it is their job to scam. It's like we fail to realize that their "job" is to actually deceive people. There are so many scammers out there on every level. When we blame the victim, it's like punishing the victim and justifying the scammer for his wrongdoing. Absolutely distorted way of thinking.
Japan needs to educate their citizens more about this. It sounds like an epidemic that no one is paying attention to. I feel sorry for the innocent and pure girls that fall for it. They are young and the world takes advantage of them :(
The way you have covered a social/moral-ethical/security issue for women to be aware of was very good, above all- 'direct communication'! Women have spoke straight out of what they have faced from crooks hunting for 'vulnerable' women, instead of saying no, nobody saw me that way.
The more I watch your videos the more I'm shocked to hear about things I've never particularly thought about. It's really insightful, keep up the good work guys

I've been following your chanel since years and I love how professional you are! Nowadays reports have become so biased and one-sided where often the reporter already tries to convey a specific view point and opinion onto the audiences. You however let the people speak for themselves even if their opinions range widely on the spectrum. You don't comment or belittle the people you ask and therefore convey a very objective and professional interview and report! I wish main stream news and reporters would be more like You :)
I disagree with what the girl w/the pink hair said because wtf? "You shouldn't trick people into things but that's their job"? That doesn't condone lying and deceiving someone at all. Just because you're well informed about this business doesn't mean anyone else is, and regardless, you shouldn't blame the girls for their naivety.
Kelly Yuan You've been taught from young not to do dumb things like sticking your hand into the fire. Being told to be suspicious of strangers, I assume is not new to you? Esp when said strangers are offering an extremely good deal for seemingly nothing in return. Sign me up for that! Do you need me to send a text of all my passwords for all my important accounts too? I trust you completely, stranger I met 5 min ago. In fact, if anything goes wrong it's completely your fault, because it's not illegal for me to be a complete moron.
I agree that a portion of the blame falls of the girls too for not researching properly, and they should take responsibility for their actions, but 90% of the blame falls on the perpetrators. And yes, anyone with an iota of common sense would not agree to follow a stranger blindly, but you have to understand that these scouts - because it's their job - are literally trained to deceive you with tactics to essentially coerce you to agree. Their words hold weight because it actually is a modelling gig. They just don't tell you the other side of it.

He was pretty cute and I was like hey I'm good. So he was like what you up to and stuff and I was like hmm(kinda thought he was hitting on me), so I said I was going home. Cause I didnt wanna go somewhere with him. He said he would walk me home. I said no thank you, cause I wasn't interested, but he insisted, so I just let him walk me until Shin Okubo (which is quite close). I then said I had to go and he asked me about being a model and I was quite surprised and of course a bit happy so I said well this is my number. He then send me LINE and then sent me pictures of NSFW swimsuit models and asked me if I wanted to become one. Never replied. End of story lol.
+BuzziMuzzi It kinda freaks me out that I read so many stories like this in the comments and the fact that they approach white girls too now with that kind of intention is really unsettling and frustrating. I wonder if that happens in Ôsaka too. Do you have any experience with that?
WaaDoku 【和ァ独】 I had no such experience in Osaka, but I never lived in Osaka only visited so I can't say for sure. In Tokyo this happened to me multiple times, as I said especially around Shinjuku Kabukichō area. Well, it's the "skechiest"area in Tokyo I guess.
I hate to say, when I was living in Tokyo, I saw this quite frequently when I came back from bar around 5-6AM (during the times the train started running) in Kabukichou, and it was actually quite violent and aggressive to my surprise. The "recruiters" came all the way to the main Shinjuku east side station (main train station in Tokyo) and FOLLOWED the girls there, and kept harassing them, asking and convincing if they would change their current work (mostly kyaba'jo) to another shop or another industry. WHEN THE GIRLS WERE GOING BACK HOME, the guys were waiting for them in the streets and approached them as soon as they passed by and started circling them and blocking their way. If it had been in the western country, you could've filed it for sexual harassment for sure. The girls looked upset when they tried to ignore it. I thought it was so disturbing and unexpected of Japan. And sometimes I gave the guys the "bad eye", but they just look at me and didn't care, they just kept persisting on their job. Really annoying people, to be honest.
Tbh if someone went up to me and called me cute and asked if I wanted to do modeling, I would be so happy and embarrassed and fall for it because of my low self esteem.
"You can't be that dumb to fall for things like that" Have you ever talked to a very insecure girl/woman? Very interesting topic you have here. Cool that you are so bold to approach it.
Even as an insecure person i would be even more sweaty scared to go with that person im ngl, but i think she means “dumb” as in ignoring your danger senses to go with that person anyway? Could be wrong though. I do wish that she could’ve used a different word ://
I remember reading articles about this and what amazed me is that the girls would go along and do the porn if pressured enough. I kept wondering why none of them went to the police about the matter. What's more embarrassing, admitting you were tricked into signing with a shady company, or doing a porn and having that tape exist forever?
In a country like Japan where the men outright just said, in this interview, that it's the women's fault for falling for this stuff? Do you think they would be confident of being taken seriously by the police? A lot of manipulation goes into this scouting - they are good at it - that's why it's so successful.
in japan most ppl r hush hush abt a lot of things. also with the topic of women and porn, most japanese cops dont really take those complaints seriously and any of those cases are usually dropped even with sufficient evidence. this is their society, do u really think that a japanese cop will care? they only pretend to so that they can see the clip
@vanderbam2741 it's definitely not the women's fault, but in the video, only the two women said that the fault was entirely of the girls. Among the guys, two said that there's fault in both sides, and one said that it was totally the scouts. So I don't know from where you got the "men in the video" from.
Wow! I'm so surprised at such comprehensive answers by many of the interviewed people, especially guys and some girls except by the pair with pink hair who blamed women for being naive. But the interview was a total reveal! Good job!
i'd say the guy who said "both are wrong" is right. because tricking people of course is to condemn but being so stupid not to realize you're being tricked into porn is also a problem -.-

It was a great surprise for me that the comment I was searching for is not in Russian but in English.
Madoyon nope you’re wrong. She’s half japanese and Italian. Her father is italian and mother is japanese. You can watch it on Sergey’s video where she explains it but if you don’t understand russian or japanese there’s no point watching it bcus there’s no eng translation of it.

Girls who are lured do it for the money.....let’s keep it real here.
As a half Japanese living in Japan for me it happens a lot, getting approached that is haha, usually for modelling but sometimes people are just curious about me.
It's sad to see that things like that happen in Japan too. These things happen all over the world. Here in Brazil this is common. I met a girl who believed she was legally married but the papers were all fake and her supposed husband soon turned out to be a horrible man. May God protect the pure in heart because this world is so disappointing.
I know how shady Asian business men can be. I worked as an ESL teacher and used recruiting agencies. Common tactics used included having you work illegally without a visa so they could get away without having to pay you, because they knew you wouldn't complain to the authorities; having you sign agreements that wern't in English; making you feel 'impolite' and 'culturally insensitive' for negotiating salary; and breaking contract in the last month so that they wouldn't have to give you severance pay.
Cute dog sleeping at 4:00 Nice video mister! God bless all and each being. Let's keep taking care of ourselves and other beings. Best regards and cheeres from Brazil.
Top Dog kind of like awesome, people say it after something cool happens or someone or yourself does something great. Usually said without the t these days. "Yeee" younger slang
I agree both parties are to blame and the tip the very last person gave should be followed. Just ask for a business card. I understand the rural area people falling for it but if you were raised in Tokyo and fall for that... I don't even know what to say that will spare feelings so I won't. It's like being raised in LA and you go inside a truck because it has "candy" at the age of 30 😑
I was attracted to dreadlock girl for her fascinating aesthetic. But then when she said it's the woman or girl's fault, I lost respect. She needs her priveledge checked. Those recruiters can play on your fears and your ignorance. There are many women in poverty.
Guided by Wings Angel Readings and Healing in a way she spoke the truth. truth hurts. If the girl wasn’t stupid she would have picked the red flag. So in a way, it’s their own fault.
@@Meronrin Not necessarily. Girls in rural areas dont come across this type of scouting and are not aware it exists. Not call them dumb.
@@danishapereira8637 That's totally correct. Victims, (even not literal victims, as they agreed but they were persuaded in doing this thing) should ALWAYS be supported. This doesn't change the "fault" part in this. I am a woman myself and I think that they are at fault, even if not 50/50. Let's say, 2%. And what this 2%? Being stupid. Because seriously, rural area my ass. We are in 2019, if you come from a big advanced country you can't agree to film whatever thing for money without checking what you are signing. Porn is bad and all, but what if you put yourself and your posession (and so, all the people connected to you) into danger? You are excused even if you become a junkie because people persuaded you that drugs are fun and don't cost much? I will support victims all the time, but this doesn't mean that I won't tell them "You did this thing wrong, you acted stupid and now you have to grow from this fact". Assuming that a victim should be just defended and helped and criticized is what leads many people in being unable to think for themselves and other to abuse of the "victim" act.
That's typically feminist. You want to be considered as responsible, independant, strong, smart, cultivated, mature, but at the same time you want to be depicted always as men's victims. you can"t have both of them. that"s a contradiction
@@ulysse21 Who spoke of men, here? My statement about victims is valid also about men, as I haven't made any gender reference. Just as there are women victims, there are men. And even for them, the best thing you can do for a victim is supporting them even when they did something stupid.
I am surprised the hafu girl is getting the most attention. I found the tall girl with brown hair, so strikingly radiant and pretty that I didn't even notice the other girl in the frame.
I actually also got scouted on the streets for a new maid cafe when I was in Japan hahaha (or at least that’s what I understood from my Japanese friends 🙈💦) it’s interesting to see a video about it.
I was scouted in the street in Shibuya...the scout was honest but exaggerating about the money. I knew what I was doing and my agency was good too. If I didn’t want to do something I didn’t have to. Nobody forced me, it was all my own decision. After a year & a half I quit the business though. I don’t regret it because it made me the person I am today. I don’t think girls are naive, if they accept it’s because they just have an interest to do that or they want the money/lifestyle.
My god this is horrible. How can a person feel safe in japan if people lure out their daughters, sisters and wives with false statements and force them to do adultery...... Japan sure is scary and dark. I used to think these are just made up things till now.
exactly which is why it's even worse when she says it's mostly the victim's fault when they fall for that scheme. if she'd been there herself she should hold a grudge against the company but no, she's probably chastising herself and others for it.

What a creep!
That plot twist at the end lol

Thanks for sharing this awkward situation you encountered when you were younger.

Remind me of I Spit On Your Grave 2 movie
Couldn't concentrate whenever that dog was in the picture lol, kept seeing if it was going to fall asleep or not

One thing is doing things because you want to other thing is being deceived and forced to. I can't believe people don't understand that the second one can happen
How though?Dont you read your contract before signing it?

Kelly Yuan they're partly at fault lol
That's what it's like in Japan. Job before everything.
So strange how they say it's the women's choice, but not the scouts.
Kelly Yuan In a perfect world, you are right.
This is most honest reporting sight

Not only pronography. When signing a movie or a drama performance, other things not mentioned on the contract(especially related to sexual things) are forced to models and actresses. I think this problem is worldwide.
In Amsterdam, Most adult workers have their own business and pay taxes without the need for scouts or 'pimps'.. it changed the atmosphere and made the "adult" industry "grow-up"
It didn't grow really. It's fair but not big
I think that's needed for a lot of other places and most of the scouts and pins are absolute creeps who are looking to mooch off of the adult workers and abuse them
that's kind of wrong as many of them come from eastern europe and are working for pimps.
@@JJtoutcourt What do you mean?
@@Simonsiempie What I mean is we don't really know if "most" adult workers work for themselves or for a pimp, and unfortunately we can't know, I never met one who was working for a pimp, but one of them said that in the red light districts (where she was working) a lot of the other girls were secretely working for a pimp.

Actually lol this happened to me. And I'm white lol. So I was just casually waiting at Shinjuku station and this kind of flashy guy comes up to me and in Japanese he's like hey how are you?
BuzziMuzzi I was really thinking if they would try this on foreigner girls also. From your story it seems that yes. Haha... They have no shame really.

It kinda freaks me out that I read so many stories like this in the comments and the fact that they approach white girls too now with that kind of intention is really unsettling and frustrating.

Outstanding interviews, no judgement, just question then listen. Well done.
4:56 stopped caring, doggo tooo cute 😍
I am learning something everytime I come here. keep up the good work!
That's exactly why I wouldn't fall for it! I'd be like "LIES, ARE YOU BLIND???" And just never believe it ever.
"You can't be that dumb to fall for things like that"
Have you ever talked to a very insecure girl/woman?

@@vanderbam2741 But its thier fault. Stop making excuses
@@vanderbam2741 lol heaven forbid women ever have any accountability. What are you, an American?
in japan most ppl r hush hush abt a lot of things. also with the topic of women and porn, most japanese cops dont really take those complaints seriously and any of those cases are usually dropped even with sufficient evidence. this is their society, do u really think that a japanese cop will care? they only pretend to so that they can see the clip
