@@_kates_takes_ My girlfriend always tells these wonderful stories of setting up a magical Christmas village with a train, and ice skating rink with her grandmother when she was young, it was their special ritual every year. She has always been sad they were lost when her grandmother passed, but never knew what they were. Just last week I started searching to try and find if something similar still existed, It ends up I came across your video and learned that Dept. 56 is exactly what she remembers from her childhood! I'm thinking that we will be starting our own little collection very soon =).
