Damn you went through world 8-3 WITHOUT any hesitation. You're a genius girl! I always hated 8-3 so much and could never get past the Hammer Bros like you did.
even the speedrunners have problems with the hammer bros when they get some delay in their play-through, hammer bros are full random if not manipulated correctly, indeed it is luck but you have to make your luck , you press the buttons, nicely done.

iJustine Especially when you beat the last Bowser... Oh my God the way you finished it, lol.
Same here bro but now i can also go thorough it 😁 nd yess I know even so many tricks which I think she might don't know nd there r lifelines also in each level do u know that
Seeing her miss the 1Ups and stars in 1-1 and 1-2 makes me think she hasn't got the game memorized (I still remember those secrets after 25 years) but the way she uses Fast B and times her jumps tells me she's got mad skills. She'd easily kick Linus' butt in retro games (I just watched Linus' playing Super Mario World on a Handheld Wii). Can't believe someone so fun is still single.
My ocd/perfectionism is going nuts watching this lmao! I have my patterns so ingrained in my mind that point everything out that I know where they are. Example, warp zones are in world 1-2 and 4-2, the warp zone to 5 is by itself past the 4-3 exit pipe. You can get the vine to the second warp zone, just don't hit that middle block the other three are low enough that Super Mario can fit. The 4-4, 7-4 and 8-4 castle patterns. 2:19: Some of my favorite old school games that I still hold near and dear are all of the Mario games, especially the GAUNTLET that is Super Mario Bros. 2: The Lost Levels. Learning to beat Super Mario World in 13 levels when I was a kid, I felt like a king! The Kirby series has always been a favorite of mine as well. Old school shooters like GoldenEye and Perfect Dark are still great to put in and play.
I've been dealing with a severe case of strep throat for the past week, but this made me feel better. I'm spending time in the hospital, but at least your videos are getting me through it all! ❤
I don't understand why Nintendo paid youtubers and others for publicity for this before it came out but didn't make enough for consumers. Like they don't make money from the ones super expensive on amazon. So why didn't they make more?! I want one so much!
Whats wrong with being paid for doing reviews? I mean the RUclipsrs are human too and they need food on the table for their time making videos. Plus Nintendo doesnt need to pay anyone to sell their old classic games. They already sell easily due to their enormous popularity.
zorkor You missed her point completely. She meant that it makes no sense for nintendo to intensely promote a product that isn't even going to have enough units to supply the demand
Super Mario 2 was and still is my favorite game and I remember the old struggle of not being able to save the game. I also remember on the original Zelda game cleaning it once when it didn't work and cleaning my save off of the game.
My first Mario game was Super Mario World. I’ve played it ever since I could learn to pick up the controller and push the buttons. One of the reasons I would love going to my grandma’s, since I didn’t get my first console (Wii) until I was a bit older.
Oh man I haven't played that since I was a kid and it looks sooo totally fun... Super Mario Bros was a huge part of my childhood that I've never revisited. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Lol Justine, you forgot a free-man in the beginning, and omg the memories lol :) love Nintendo i am currently playing my Super Nintendo console, and thank you for making me remember some fun memories, love you and hope you feel better soon.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope you get back on your feet soon! Keep smiling! :) You inspired me to try to learn juggling! My daughter is attempting it too! Thanks for your fun vlogs!
Pac-Man was probably my favorite or brick break. i was an arcade junkie. then as far as newer "old games" i liked cruisin USA, crazy taxi, need for speed, resident evil, police academy, and any other driving games.
When I was a kid in the 80s and 90s, we would hide the console behind the big wooden TV, and turn the TV off, but leave the console on, until we got home from school, to finish off playing.
Nes is my teen years, loved playing super Mario 1,2, and 3. Wish I had the nes still, can't wait for the switch too. I'll have to find some online friends to play some of those games. And I'll be taking my switch to Pittsburgh in May.
grew up with this. there are actually plenty of cheats.. can't remember all of them.. my pals and I uncovered insane cheats never thought they existed... :) brings the 80s memories hack...
That was really nice to watch. My childhood favorite games were Millipede on Atari, Super Mario world on SNES, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Sega Genesis (they will bring it back with Sonic Mania soon), Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Mega Man 2 on NES... Those are the one I remember ;)
I just cant stop imagining that your channel is like iCarly and ro's is like victorious. Its problobly because you remind me of Sam with your hair color and voice, and ro reminds me of Tori because she makes friends with people easily and her channel theme song that's not easy not to dance to
I remember how stressful the NES was. All the years yelling and ranting about dying in a game. As for my favorite game on the NES was Rygar. It was the best game I have ever played. I remember how had to have my system on for about three days to complete the game. I remember I wasn't allowed to have it on that long so I might have only had on for a whole day.
I don't remember much in my life but beating Mario for the first time was like having an out of body experience. I swear time slowed down when I conquered bowser. I peaked at that moment and only went downhill since.
Mario is one of my favorites nes games. But the game with I had the most fun was that Olympic Games game with the skinny guy with the mustache. So much fun memories
Hope you get better Justine. I use to have the big gray brick 'game boy,' and it was super fun. My favorite game back then was "Need For Speed - Hot Pursuit 2." I also use to play the old, old Sim games, like the "SimSafari" and the " SimCopter." 'Revolt' was a pretty fun game. Use to play all of those games on the old big Microsoft pc. Nowadays I don't play games, but am planning on getting a gaming laptop within next year. Pretty excited about that. :D
They had a password system in some gamea like Mega Man 2-6, Punchout, Zelda had the only save feature actually. You had unlimited continues in games like Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden. But yeah most games you had 3 lives & only 2 continues. You basically had to beat them in 1 sitting. I remember those days. They have it so good now with save states, internet, easy access to games etc
In the 1980's, kids watched The Super Mario Bros. Super Show on TV after school. There was a special "Zelda" episode on Friday afternoon. Koji Kondo emulated Deep Purple's April(1970) while composing music for The Legend of Zelda. Do you know what it feels like to hear schoolchildren say "Baxter Stockman" sixty times in one day?
My current favorite game would be "I Am Alive" It just had an amazing atmosphere. I used to play Pacman, and Super Mario when I was young but I can't say that they're still my favorite.
ive got an original classic NES for back in the day... it was my dads and still works to this day with atleast 20 games including The Legend Of Zelda... :D
I'm 13 and me and my family still have our nes, and my parents bought it for my sister when it first came out!! It still works and I play it all the time!
I remember playing this when I was a kid. It was cool but it wasn't until I played The Legend of Zelda that I got hooked on video games. Out of the Mario games though Super Mario Bros 3 is easily my favorite of all time.
I hated when I went through all this trouble to pass through a world and then I would mess up the jump and he would hug the flag pole instead of sliding down it. I also miss watching the super Mario cartoon.
Best episode of 'Elders React to Super Mario NES' ever!
HHAH;OIEF HLOL!!!! :)
Haha!
Daniel Dickey *SHOTZ FIYEREDZ*
HAHAHAHAHA!! lol
DAMN DANIEL
Damn you went through world 8-3 WITHOUT any hesitation. You're a genius girl! I always hated 8-3 so much and could never get past the Hammer Bros like you did.
that was all pure luck lol
even the speedrunners have problems with the hammer bros when they get some delay in their play-through, hammer bros are full random if not manipulated correctly, indeed it is luck but you have to make your luck , you press the buttons, nicely done.

She's played this a lot when she was a kid. You can tell she grew up with the nes system. This isn't some adult casual that got into this game.
Mario is such a classic I never get bored of playing it
I don’t have Mario

You are killing that Mario bros! I used to love Mario 3 growing up. That one had the raccoon suite and the frog all that good stuff.
I would love to see Justine play Super Mario World
Mario and Duck hunt were my first video games.
Dude! that last Bowser jump!
SolOtis ikr
my first console was the super Nintendo and first handhelds black n white gameboy back in the 90's ☺ hope you feel better soon.
I grew up playing Super Mario. I love the game.

There's things I would never watch any other RUclips channel do, although i find myself always watching your random videos. Keep it up!
0:30 *Smh she didn’t jump for the hidden brick*
Cleary she grew-up in the 80s! Only people in our age group still know this game like the back of our hands! =)
This is awesome! Brought me back to my childhood! Gotta get one of these! Soon!
I never knew you could get to world 8 that fast my whole childhood has been a lie
7:49 my god that transition freaked me out. I thought my laptop was acting weird haha.
CastleFlameGal haha
I find your videos like this and your iPhone shattering my favorites. When you are unscripted and fidgeting, it is the most adorable.

I love this super Mario bros so funny, both my grandparents had a NES so I would play it at their houses
I was OBSESSED with mario brothers especially on ds. And i was also obsessed with pokemon
Not bad for the first run after years! :) Better than many people I saw....
My all time favorite game is Splatoon! I wish I could play Splatoon 2 though. You should get it Justine it's really really fun!
I remember playing this when I was a kid. It was cool but it wasn't until I played The Legend of Zelda that I got hooked on video games. Out of the Mario games though Super Mario Bros 3 is easily my favorite of all time.

The good old days!!!! One of my favorites!!! You should do Sonic with Sega.
Hope Mike YES!
