Hello there. I was looking to get a cost breakdown. Plus I heard the caravans can only be a certain age then they get removed at the owners cost. So you paid £25,000 plus you have the £4000 per year ground rent increasing annually by 5 percent os is that varied? What other costs are they slipping in under the radar? I used to sell cars for a living so I know sales men can be trusted to not tell the whole truth lol. Hope you don’t mind me asking.
Hi thanks for the question. On top of the above we also have to pay insurance which was included this year but will have to purchase next year, not sure on cost yet. Gas bottles are £90 each and last 6-8 weeks depending on usage, there is also power but we haven’t had a bill yet to break down that cost. We will create another video in the coming weeks to cover this area.
@ thank you for that. Is there an age limit on the van? If you don’t mind me asking. What happens to the van when it hits the age they wont accept? Do you have to pay for it to be removed?
@ the age limit is 20 years but if you want to let it out via the park it has to be 12 years or below. When you hit the 20 year mark you can either trade in for a newer model and the park take care of it or you can sell it off yourself. Many sell off to static caravan salesmen who arrange the removal and re sale etc.
