- Vanessa Bryant honors her late husband, Kobe Bryant, and daughter, Gianna Bryant, by celebrating Dia de los Muertos. The mom of four shared a video of herself dressed in the traditional attire worn on the holiday, which is observed primarily in Mexico as a celebration of those who have died. Vanessa wore skull makeup as well as a long black dress with a purple heart in the center and accessorized the look with a gold headpiece adorned with matching flowers. She writes in the caption, 'The #2 on my sacred heart for my Gigi, the golden basketball halo with 24 stars for my husband, the 6 butterflies on my flower crown representing my family.'

This is beautiful. She's honoring her lost loved ones. Mexicans have been doing this for generations and its good to see her keeping her head up while doing it as well.

We don’t actually say “happy día de los muertos” originally people didn’t dress up as a “catrina” we just went to the cemetery place the offerings on the tombstone and pray. This tradition has become a spectacle. Sadly

So sweet I wish her peace, she lost so much in one day. I recently lost a younger sister/brother in May it effected my parents and all my younger siblings. I have a huge hole in my heart. I did attempt to take my own life in August. spent 2 weeks at mental health facility I'm still getting better.
