First time I heard this was on a free disc with future music mag (I think ) and fell in love with it .... Perfection !! So much so it's going to be one of my funeral tunes ... When I eventually leave this mortal coil !
My lover’s song to me back in the day. Only he and I knew the message. We got together for a brief time in the fall. Romantic don’t you think? We got back to each other years later and 14yrs in still going strong.
In case anyone is wondering what song the vocal sample is from, the name of the song is "Autumn Leaves." I believe Nat King Cole made it famous first, and it's been covered by various artists since then. For some reason, the vocal in this one sounds like the Pet Shop Boys, but I don't think it is..
Love that vibe with 2000 liberty, imagine the grayish-blue new york with its waters like in GTA 3 Tracks that i found similar to this : Alice Deejay - The Lonely One Darude - Feel The Beat
fucking amazing , excellent tune, lush, need music like this today, only music i can find as good as this is ,CONSTANT DRIFT,here on you tube......................
Flicking though the usual garbage vinyl in my local charity shop and found the full album of this looking like new for 4quid! Gave them 10 and said to keep the change EDIT, the album is called "Intensify"
The official remix is more along the lines of BSPF in my opinion. The unreleased Bedrock remix, however, adds a breakdown in the middle that enhances it considerably.
Elizabeth Fraser singing about autumn leaves and Neil Armstrong informing us that he's "approximately half way between the Moon and the Earth". A truly terrible combination, for which they were duly sacked by Distinctive just after this single flopped. Sorry boys, but your best ideas were all used up on the first album.
+DarkAngelOfHellingly Your OPINION aside, they were dropped by the parent label of Deconstruction, Sony, at the same time when there were some significant management changes underway (Deconstruction went dormant practically for a good 10 years), so the conclusion you've drawn is sketchy at best. They did just fine in the followup years with both the Intensify and Don't Look Now LPs on Distinctive.
vinnie97 Okay I should've spent a bit more time jogging my memory, it was fifteen years ago. But yeah, as I (now) recall a lot of the old staff at Deconstruction who were dance enthusiasts had left, leaving behind only jobsworths whose only interest was commercial hits, and when this didn't chart well they were shown the door. But I think that their debut was one of the best albums of the '90s and everything since has (in comparison) been disappointing. Hypnotise was the only stand-out track on intensify.
It has been a long time and I had to think back to verify. I can scarcely believe it's been 15 years. I wouldn't even necessarily put "Hypnotised' in the top 5 list on that album. "The Fall," "Activity," "Stealth," "Intensify Part 1," "Call Me," and "Secret" all rate higher for me. Different strokes..
2023. There are tracks that just stay with you for the rest of your days.
It's 2020 and I haven't stopped listening to it since it's release

@lite1979 Correct, not PSB, but Janis Alexander who Coldcut (Ninjatune fame) utilized on their cover of the single.

Hey, I've heard that space transmission sample before! Didn't the Crystal Method use it in High Roller?
Yep, same sample
(I know I'm replying to a 5 year old comment but oh well)
@@Lazz_R Not quite 5 years this one but we've all been there dude!
@007nitfire Yeah, it definitely sounds familiar.
The lyrics come from this song Coldcut -Autumn Leaves (which is also a remix of an older France Song) ruclips.net/video/4qoTzDPDvE8/видео.html
Scouse house remix please!
@MrWabler indeed ,i love more the mix of Digweed. But i love and this original version.
Bedrock mix blows this out of the water

How in the hell is this monetized?? This is very clearly copyrighted music.
Anything that may be gained from ads goes directly to the copyright holder. I'm pretty sure that's explained in the disclaimer of the video itself.
@Fanne1979 same as :)

DarkAngelOfHellingly wow, literally. It was much changed from earlier stuff, but if you heard I closing at Renaissance you'd have a different view
dumb comment
