Great video, Anthony. Welcome to FPV drones! We're so glad we could be part of your journey into building your own DIY FPV drone kit. This will inspire many others. This is a common story we hear from others who can from an exciting sport, but due to injury or physical risks, now find a similar adrenaline rush from FPV drones.

I’d heard people say, “it’s a rush!” but thought, no way it could be the rush of that you get flying PPG. Oh, was I wrong! FPV had been an awesome addition to my recovery; one that’ll stick around long after I’ve regained my strength. Thank you again for sending me the kit. I love it.

@AnthonyVella Awesome! So excited for you, Anthony.
Your comment about the Avata is so spot on. Most people that buy DJI drones (as technologically advanced as they are) end up flying them a few times and that's it. Pretty sad really. The path of building your own and configuring the FC firmware is much more satisfying due to the learning curve and work that needs to be put it.

Good to see you happy and "in the air" again.
This video came at a very funny time for me. I have not yet seriously crashed (if we don't count that tree when a brake toggle ripped off at full speed in a tight turn) but see my style as getting more and more aggressive, to the point where I have to think about what I want to get out of PPG, and what I can expose my family to. Eventually it will probably end badly, but without PPG, how will I get "my fix"?
...and there you come swooping in from the side with a very reasonable suggestion, that I am now seriously considering.
Thanks a lot for the inspiration :-)

Fly indoor to shoot your perfect "onetake". Chase boats, cars, bicycles and even Paragliders at breathtaking speeds. Fly at beautiful places.....over the Sea, cliffs and openings in rock formations. Dive buildings and Mountains. Explore the world around You.
Then there is also building your setups for different scenarios. Optimising Your tune and getting that sweet efficiency or speed or size You need for Your application.

Great to see you're doing better Anthony! and welcome to the world of RC flying machines! from my experience (about 14 years) I just want to say to be extremely aware of the props, if you doing something with your model (messing with the radio for example) just take the props off. I have seen first hand what these little bastard can do at full throttle. Also avoid standing in the axis of the prop. I had prop just explode for no reason, the explosion bent aluminium motor mount.
Also if you dont know, you can build RC paramotor, with HK wing it is pretty cheap model, super fun to fly. I want to get one of the tiny whoops, and I think those are bind and fly, right? My bad for it coming off as if those were the only 2 options.
