I enjoyed being 'up close and personal' with these masks, and was especially intrigued by the foot mask.

Beautiful masks. The quality is very fine in the one not gilded. Thanks, I have never seen these examples before.

Nice ancient pieces but Carlo Rindi has Michelangelo's David's hands and forearms! 🤩

Stunning cartonnage. Do you have the mummies as well? I really love their colors, so well preserved. And that blue!!

Basically Greek imitations of Egyptian funerary masks.

Sorry but this is incorrect. This is not the same as Roman sculptors who copied Greek statues. In this historical phase of my Country, the artisans were Egyptian, they were in Egypt and they produced these goods for rich Egyptians. The period is Graeco-Roman because after Alexander the Great Egypt was a Roman province but this does not mean they were not Egyptians or that when mixed with foreigns they were not Egyptian anymore. It was like a small globalized world and ancient Egyptian traditions and beliefs were so strong and alive, their meaning and symbols were still almost authentic even in the last centuries of this important civilization. There are many studies about this.

@@rafaqatdogar3618 Yes, that's means foreigners. The ancient Kemetic Royal house people starting emigrated out to South,East and West Africa as Kemet failed.
      They would call themselves Egyptians.
The original Kemetic people are about 1 to 5 million in Egypt, again quit trying mix your history with ancient Kemetic people.
It's like mixing European Americans with the Native Americans (Indians). the native people would say we're different.
