Removing Gear Knob of Toyota C HR

Until I removed the entire center console trims and inspected the gear knob, I was not knowing that removing the gear knobs are so simple, and hence thought of sharing it in my 'how to' series

Hi is there meant to be a little movement from the gear knob forwards and backwards without changing gear ? Hope that makes sense.
