Oh man good timing guys. Some of my gear was lost in the fire out on Swasey, so I need a new cooler. It'll be between this one and the colman xtreme, which has faired pretty well against Yeti from what I hear, and is in the $60 range.

@@SuperChunty9o9 honestly IMO I would never buy a yeti. I just think they are over priced for what they are. Many more better coolers out there and usually for less. The monoprice cooler I have I only used once and it performed comparably to my orca.

nobody is a know it all. :-) I always just use a portable tape. Personally i wouldn't want to get animal flesh smells on the lid. Its not another reason to attract bears. If its on a boat though, i supposed it would be great when fishing. In an expedition or travel scenario, you don't usually have the cooler close enough to be convenient for measuring legal fish size for example. It just doesn't seem that convenient. It would be awesome for sectioning meat if you dont mind getting cutting marks on your cooler lid. Again though, the smells and cleanup would be to much work for me. Just my opinion. anybody else have thoughts on that?

The yeti number denotes the model number not actual liter/quart size. The tundra 45 acually only holds 37 quarts.
Rodrigo Cruz you are correct on the the Tundra 45, but the roadie 20 is 20 Quarts and 19.7 Liters
Have two of these, 35 and 55 I think, Anyway, less expensive to buy, and if I'm careful, I can get 8 days out of them.
I'm planning to get a monoprice cooler this summer. I can deal with the manufacturing imperfections since I'm gonna rough it up in the long run anyways!

How much ice did they put in each one, if ur putting the same amount of ice in a smaller cooler it will last longer. These is more comedy then review

After what Yeti did to hurt our 2A rights and trying to embarrass the NRA and it’s members this year, it will never find a place in my home again. Monoprice has ways around patent laws (somehow). They pretty much sell exact copies with a different logo. I have $15 dollar Monoprice headphones that sound like $120 ones.
The companies that make the "originals" don't hold the patents on these products. The Chinese companies that actually manufacture them do. And they will build and license the exact same product for anyone willing to pay for it. Monoprice just figured it out.

old school youtuber hunters do use coolers actually. I know lots of pro hunters who use yeti’s to transport their meat either in their truck or on a plane. Also we aren’t fishermen by trade hence we didn’t know about the ruler.

I hunt sometimes never brought a cooler actually nobody I've seen took a cooler hunting its usually fucking cold when u go hunting. It's hot when u fish and no hunter process their meat when its killed u bleed it amd take it home and do it. Its against rules amd regulations to gut a animal while u r hunting u have to transport to body and no body but maybe a rabbit will fit in that thing. Whatever yall say I think u need to remake this video their is no field teat for it just talk no examples either like I said just standing there talking.
