Bro, he didn't become one with a tiny plush, Theodore was part of the bigger bodies experiment, he was an orphan that went to play care and then got taken to the part where they make toys, and then chopped him into parts, made a massive version of catnap and crammed his body parts, organs and guts all in there.
The story you guys put together here for CatNap seems to fit pretty well from what us theorists have theorized happened before the events of Chapter 3.
