When it first started i thought it was about freaknik. And how if affected the life of a particular character as you saw it through her eyes. To my dismay, it's yet another been there done that drug dealer story. How original yawn. Seriously how many different ways can you tell the same story?
Until it's done out and dried up, cause this show got a second season
This trailer told me nothing but it said enough to make me want to know more. So I’m tuning in.

Great acting. If you went to school in the AUC, we all know people who are these characters...it can be trigerring because the writing is spot on
She was the first black, female police chief here in Detroit and she’s in this movie. I can’t wait to see this.

It does look like just more of what we've seen a thousand times already but curiosity about all aspects of it will have me taking at least a peek. Maybe something about it will jump out and actually surprise me.

Well this looks promising
Now seeing this trailer I feel like I'm getting the Aaliyah vibe the clothes that she wears is similar watching the trailer it got me curious to know where it takes place in 1992 before I was born because I was born in 93 so something tells me that the justice system always had issues with police issues with black officers of course and criminality wow where I am I do not have bet plus but I can watch it online in a website and I could Google it wow 2:58
They can't do it like Power
There was so much more going on in the "A" in the 90s than just drug dealing. Hopefully they touch on other aspects. But this underwhelming trailer is leaving a lot to be desired.
What would you like to see explored
Exactly! They need to knock it off and leave us alone if you not going to get your story from the core. Drugs was such a small part and a choice. I went to the AUC..in the 90s… and if this isn’t a ton of good smart people with civil rights activists adjacent parents partying, living, loving and learning they got us completely wrong!
Why only 4 episodes for a whole season. Streaming is the worst thing ever. TV would never have 4 episodes for a season.
garbage show
Trailer was very underwhelming, and didn't persuade me to watch. Bet is becoming redundant with their shows.
