Even though I was born & raised in America, I served in its military. I never felt a part of this land. Ever since I was a boy, my spirit felt drawn to Africa. I knew nothing about Africa except what I saw on tv, which was negative. But yet, I was still drawn to Africa.
Back in the 80s, I watched the television
mini series Shaka Zulu. I wanted to be a Zulu warrior so bad. Lol Fast-forward to 1995, while in the military, I went to Egypt. I remember feeling such a peace. Well, I'm finally going back to the African continent, but this time, I'm going to Ghana in a few months. I did a Dna test. On my mother side, we descend from the Akan people in Ghana. My fathers line is the Fulani people in Nigeria. I plan on visiting South Africa next year. I want to learn everything I can about the Xhosa & Zulu. I know Africa has many languages & tribes. I want to learn as much as I can & pass on the knowledge to my children before I die. Peace & Blessings to the Motherland, my ancestors & all the people of Africa.
I’m from the Caribbean and did a dna test it shows I’m Khoisan, Yoruba, Lemba, Nubian, Southern Indian

It is so beautiful there. My son said it looks better than the US. ❤
Africa is beautiful, and the media are showing only the problem. We love all our people that left our home but we all belong to the same family
This is my home country. A country that I left 5 years ago. But I am still connected to it because is where I came from. We, Africans, welcome you. Tenha boa estadia e que Deus te proteja. To you Go Black To Africa, I say thank you for all you do. It would’ve been a pleasure to meeting with you. My our ancestors protect you. ❤
Bruh I’m speaking about the USA dude
The Portuguese language is not an African language, and neither is English,Spanish or whatever. Africans must seriously consider as to how we are to communicate with one another first, and to the world.
Language is the soul and spirit of any people of which without it,any people are lost !
Hold up. You left Africa “for a reason,” yet, you telling the Africa diaspora to come back? You will definitely have to explain yourself!
joaocadula, Bless his heart, he is so proud of "his" Portuguese language, like so many Africans are so proud to speak only the colonial languages. The Arabs and European enslavers really did a number of them African folks.

I definitely want to visit Angola 🇦🇴 Home of Capoeira...I am currently planning to visit Kenya 🇰🇪 in 2024.
I am from Ghana and I must say I am a bit disappointed you haven't shown then Luanda, Angolan capital in all its glory. And for those who are interested in a bit of history, the defeat of South Africa by Angolan and Cuban forces led directly to the independence of Namibia and later the fall of apartheid South Africa. Angola has been a serious anti western imperialist country from day one.
Many slaves to the Americas were from Congo, Guinea, Ghana, Senegal. It's neither easy nor necessary for one to trace exactly where they came from but what's important is to learn or research about the country that appeals to you. Some lesser know countries I'd suggest are Zambia, Namibia, Angola, Cameroon, Gambia, and Guinea (ps. there are 3 Guineas in Africa). East African slaves were mainly to Europe and the Arab world.
Greetings from the US... thanks for sharing this piece of history

Kikongo is the mother of many languages in Africa.

Watching from Nigeria 🇳🇬 nice interview I enjoyed it would love to meet an African american woman someday hopefully get married to one
As an African American woman, you already send red flags 🚩. You probably have several wives. You just want a green card. There is nothing cute about what you said.
When Bro Jonathan came out saying "Kembo Kembo NaTata NZAMBI Yama Zulu Mpungo Tulendo" it resonated so much. I didn't know what it meant but I felt it within. It feels like a call to come home or to look in this direction for home or something and reminds me of that scripture "my sheep know my voice"
tata Nzambe = father God
Brotha, you are something! Great video
This is Amazing!! I just felt led to share on yesterday a video about how powerful saying KEMBO KEMBO NA TA NZAMBI YAMA ZULU and how I was connected to brother Massiyah and brother Jonathan ❤️ 😮😮😮

All things aside I was thinking more I watched the video I realised what momma was saying about get a message about leaving this is like me now the thing is I am I got this almighty feeling to leave scotland and get to south africa. Not sure why but I currently selling everything I cant take with me and plan to leave end of june.
This came after years of working and never stepping up the ladder, been shift manager in fast foods all over, tattooed for over a decade and then retrain went back to university and graduated Programming with honours. Just as I about to graduate then doctor decided I had ADHD and anxiety and prescribed what they call medicine and since then life has just has continued to spiral out of control to point where it was leave the world or leave where I am and find my true purpose.
This is when I decided to leave scotland and make my way to south africa I am a Caucasian and was wondering if there is any places I would struggle to travel easily I dont want conflict I am escaping a city life that constant feels like a war zone and I cant do it anymore.
I'm lovin this video. Angola has certainly peaked my interest.

Beautiful interview!
I chose zambia but my DNA test results from African ancestry came back Bissa tribe In Burkina faso so thats on my list to visit.
Zambia is such an amazing place and the people are just awesome.
I'm a continental African and in my opinion you shouldn't restrict yourself to any one region of Africa when in fact Africa is your birth right. It was the European who carved up Africa and alienated different groups of Africans from each other. Yes there are different tribes in Africa but originally most Africans were nomadic people who migrated with their herds or followed the prey that they hunted. My roots are from West Africa but I'll be damned if the whole of Africa isn't my home. Peace.
The most remarkable truth is the ENTIRE African continent is wide OPEN to our stolen brothers and sisters in the diaspora. How beautiful ❤😊🌹 Greetings from Uganda 🎉
I'm from ZAMBIA we have Bisa tribe there too. I am Bisa tribe from my dad's side. Welcome to Zambia. Burkina Faso has Bissa tribe crazy?

A great story my dear in your return home. Thank u.🫒
Shout to the the 757!!!! I visit Ft. Monroe in Hampton, VA every Saturday and Sunday morning. I sit by the marker of where the first African Enaved touched these American grounds. A significant population of the Hampton Roads, VA can statistically trace their root to the first Enslaved Africans that came to the United States. I’ve been researching so many pages of Black Americans who are tracing their roots. I’m not that interested in that as much I just want to reconnect with my African brothers and sisters and I love the Portuguese language and have an interest in the people of Angola. So I’m highly interested in a few African countries Angola, Botswana, Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya. So I’m narrowing it down. But Angola is rising higher and higher.
Black Americans usually travel to English-speaking African countries (Ghana,Tanzania,Botswana, etc). But she went to an African Portuguese-speaking country.I really liked that because Portuguese is the language of my country (Brazil).
Surprise. Once upon on time, Portugal was a global power, arouse and declined. Is the best way to do things, right from the starting point: Former Portugal colonies.
The economic picture is extremely bleak in Portugal today, as a matter of fact I heard many were going back to Angola seeking new careers and opportunities, due to the economic hardship in Portugal.
Are you Afro-Brazilian ? If so your ancestors might be from Angola because most
Africans who went to Brazil were from Angola during Trans Atlantic Slave Trade
Great stuff as always. Thanks for the updates. Peace and love

Black are getting the urges to leave American and go home become its the holy spirit waking us up this is all prophetic its written in the writing of the books of the prophecies
Now this makes sense especially when we are told that the slaves came out of Angola by the Portuguese. I have been researching this for years and placed it on RUclips for a long time. At the time no one was listening. Benayah Israel did beautiful research on this topic and placed it on RUclips. Our people were still snoring. Now the truth is coming forward. Yah is waking us up. So happy for the sister. She is right where her ancestors went. She must do more research on Sao Tome Island and Portugal and Spain. We left blood in those lands.

As an African living in New York .
