Just to pass on something I learned about Superclean, in the concentrated form mixed with water, in a sprayer will remove layers of skin from your hands (wear gloves) it will also discolor (yellow) painted surfaces if applied in the sun on hot surfaces. It dulls polished Alcoa Wheels (acid) and if it's left on too long it will remove paint, I learned this washing the exterior of my new Cargomaster trailer, to remove the lot rot, gray rain streaks from the sides. Remember, if your hands are itchy and burning, you're losing skin! Love the content, keep em spinning!

Would be really cool to see you do more flip projects mate, you and the guys have the skills and the facilities to do it easy and would be far more positive and productive content than the destroying stuff.
God bless you and the family and best wishes from the north west of England

Those Mercedes engines are awesome, great power, reliable but they do need regular maintenance. It's a good fixer uper! It does need some paint on that rusty frame but looks good for a starter truck.

The frame looks cooked from the rear of the truck. Both rails are rolled out. And I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure putting water in these things can cavitate the liners.

Hey Bruce it looks like it's the foot valve, just check on the heal of it that there's no crap built up there preventing it releasing properly or that the pin it hinges on isn't tight before you go to the expense of changing it, I hope this helps. 😊

Those Freightliner Columbia cabs are real bad about clogging the radiator with dust. I have had 3 of them and we had to pull the cooling package and give them a thorough cleaning, on all 3, about every 2 years. I would love to come and help on some of these trucks. I live 2 hours from you at least until November.

You should throw the helm away as it is not safe to use anymore. The polystyrene inside shrinks as it ages and hence the exp date.
Some one might try and use it one day so cut the straps off.
