@@Catskilleagle-om3qd Maybe, maybe... But despite the alcohol, this master's hand with a soldering iron was steady. After all, skill can't be drunk away.🤣
This reminds me of when I was a kid going to see the Mexican movies similar to this. El Santo, Mil Mascaras, Blue Demon, Huracan Ramirez in wrestling and silly movies like this one.
This was riffed by MST3K (maybe something very similar, lol). Thanks for posting in bloody color. BTW, Rifftrax also did a different Mexican film that was also very similar to this! The Mexican audience grew tired and wanted more masked wrestlers battling vampires (they were also all riffed, lol).
Isn’t it wonderful how Hollywood messes with your sensibilities ? They tell you right from the start , that this movie is a mix of fact and fiction . There are people in this world who insist the whole movie was true .
If anyone is thinking about making a remake of this wonderful movie, I would like to play the mummy. I don’t even need any make up. I’m ready. Uhrrrrr! Uhrrrrr!
What I mean is , the mix of fact and fiction means , what the author didn’t know in fact , was filled in with fantasy ( fiction ) . In any case , some people can’t tell the difference .
All that fuss for two articles that could habe been take photos of them, and the mummy would have never been troubled. The other comical fact is that the Professor Almandar did in fact already deciphered the breast plate.

Wow. Still not anywhere near as bad as Manos, Hand Of Fate, but truly so bad it's embarrassing to watch. Hard to believe they bought expensive 35mm and paid to have it processed after putting this shit in front of the camera.
As they used to say, "there are levels of quality in movies: Perfect ones, fantastic ones, great ones, good ones, regular ones, bad ones, terrible ones, shite ones, and mexican ones".
I wondered since many years who will win between an aztec mummy and a robot, this film is the answer that was missing.
This film establishes a benchmark I didn't know existed with which to compare other films to!
Watch the Mexican films riffed on MST3K and Rifftrax for a benchmark.
Probably the greatest Aztec mummy movie ever made!
Warning Strong Language .... "You Villainous mummy." 🤣
I like the so very useful subtitles , like " singing in her own language " ! People would never acknowledge that ... ^^
This movie rivals Plan 9 From Outer Space in its awfulness. I'm loving every minute of it!
Ha! I just saved this in my category "Comedies."
Which master plumber soldered this robot out of galvanized iron?🤣👍
Maybe it was Jackie Chan 's Dranken master .

Is the word " Matrosik " of slavenian origin ?
The original Bender
This movie is one silver masked luchador away from being the greatest triumph ever committed to film.
I love this movie! I used to watch it with my little children and make lego versions of the robot and the Aztec mummy.
Poor robot, they should have designed his legs where they bent at the knee😂
I hadn't seen this gem before, thanks for sharing!
Gracias.
The ritualized sacrifice scene looked pretty cool.
This thing is bonkers I didn't think they made this sort of thing back then
Great decor!!
The graveyard guy in the poncho is a glutton for punishment
It was fun! I want a remake.🙂

Apparently Hollywood does not have sole ownership of bad movies. This might have made a good silent movie. Fun to watch, I admit.
Crazy film but entertaining

una obra de arte al mal gusto
Perfectly dastardly.
This is so bad that it is actually good 😂

Nice!
Saturday matinee 😊 wouldn’t the proper term be Cyborg 🤫🤔🤗❤
This is the reason why there is no longer any Mexican movies only novelas.
It wasn't that easy. The director ran away and was in hiding in Hollywood seeking refuge. Denied.
THE FILM WAAS SHOT IN THE DARK...and the director at dawn🤭
Why would a crucifix ward off a mummy?
It was a converted mummy?
Tom Servo: "Wait - A *_human_* robot? There's a flaw right there!"
😂😂
An NPC, if you will 😅
Ai enhanced, or cyborg (if you will)
"Não é a Chorona, é a Múmia Azteca!" kkkkkkkkkkkk
Professor plum
In the library. With a lead pipe
noooo a terrible singing woman 😂 they seemed popular in the 50's, im assuming theyve all been shot by now.
@52:27, The Mexican Mad Doctor Frankenstein type has two regular flashing light bulbs instead of sparky stuff. Lame, lol.
Enjoy your films 🎥
Certified by a notary or not I find it a bit hard to believe.
The makers of Robocop stole the concept from this movie imo

avp of its day
This is one the must see list - I did see the "Mayan Mummy" but if this was your idea of fun it was not Mayan!
Saw this movie not long ago.
With all that plumage the birds around there must be bald.
So Ed Wood had a Mexican cousin
Man they must spent $100 on the robot costume.
The real horror was the film they made along the way,
oh, dear.

HEY! Pass that doodie dude!
El antiguo cine mexicano era cada segundo muy pulido no aburría al vidente no como ahora una simplesa un poco de emoción al último
Yeah, that's weird

The first Christian aztec mummy i met
Why did the cast speak in English!? Was an US production!??
It is an original Mexican film and some time later it was dubbed to English for the USA market.
1958???
Surely 1928
Mexico come late to the new film technology
mavaff... e in lingua inglese!!!!

I am pretty old.I may have watched a worse movie.
Crossover pouca é bobagem!
ahahaha
Thise this is it y
???🤔
Far too much narration (monologues..) instead of dialogs. This is not really typical for 1958 era films... it's just proof of poor scenario writing.
That's the worst band I've ever heard.😂
As they used to say, "there are levels of quality in movies: Perfect ones, fantastic ones, great ones, good ones, regular ones, bad ones, terrible ones, shite ones, and mexican ones".
Each country has bad and good movies.
This one is cheesy and silly as hell.
