anything still going down in this server? I logged in for the first time in years the other night and it seems dead but if people are still running groups it might be fun to play again. My character has more gear than i know what to do with from untold numbers if MC, BWL and AQ40 clears
There are 2 horde raiding guilds, one is progressing (one day at a time) and another killed Kel'Thuzad 6 times (Cupcake). Parties and smaller raids also happen regularly, but I guess you should get used to the time when they happen.
I think there are 2 downsides to play on Kronos: 1) Now is the last phase of the game (Naxx). 2) Pretty low pop, you'll level up till 60 almost without dungeons or with boost from other players. Other than this, it's well made and reliable server. I also heard that it's very close to the real vanilla WoW.
@@cthuncanthealyoubutican I used to play on Kronos up until Blizzard anounced the date for the Classic Beta it was an active server. The week after they said the date guilds just started falling apart as everyone set their sites and took a break to prepare for Classic. Obviously it's been like 5 years since I played on Kronos but the devs were extremely dedicated responding to cheaters, bots, bugs or just tickets in general usually within a few minutes. The server ran pretty well and seemed to be pretty faithful. Again my experience was years ago but it was a very positive one.
@@brettprickett4146 I should say that it's still a very good server, one of the best I've played on. Idk how it happens, but the dedication of GMs is relentless, even if the pop is low. My first character was created in about 2017, so it's been about 7 years (with 1.5 years break when I tried to quit WoW).

Not at all, it's very old. First entries in the changelog appeared in 2014, according to Kronos website.
