- Hey guys! We are incredibly late in posting this mail time (so sorry). We filmed it before Samantha Grace arrived and just haven’t had a great chance to get it together until now. 🤪 Hope you enjoy! ❤️ - Laura
I sent the Pack n Play because I just wanted to send something completely utilitarian for their new studio. All I could think of was them lugging baby stuff back and forth in the cold from the house to the studio. I also know that she receives SO much stuff and even if she couldn't use it herself, she could maybe use it at her mom's house, or also even donate it to the children's shelter. Any of those would have been super fine with me. Like many of you, Laura has changed my life and brought so much enjoyment to it. And obviously Laura isn't the only one... think David Goggins LOL. ;) And there are many others. But Laura and Aaron are something so special. I'm just so grateful, I couldn't help myself. So I wanted to give her something she could use, or pass on to someone in need, if she couldn't. Just a simple thank you for all the light she has brought into my life.

I really hope you guys enjoy the cat quilt. It was a labor of love from my mom and I and Norman. Lol. There are washing instructions in the package as well as a personal label on the back. Congrats on Samantha Grace!! Beautiful name.for a beautiful baby!!

What a beautiful antique lantern! I would have liked to like to purchase a couple for our home, if it were new. I will be on the hunt for something similar! You should do a Fan Garden, with all the seeds that you got in the mail.
At least label with who sent them so on videos and tours she can tell us. We would love to know how they turned out even though we didn't send the seeds. I love her mail times.

I know these mail times take a lot of time and energy to film. I just love watching you open all the lovely things that people send you. It gives me great ideas for gifts as well. I hope you keep doing them. You deserve it all.
I love the cat quilt-so pretty- there is a lot of work in quilts, that anyone who doesn't quilt will not realize. I am going to try to find the pattern.
I think the quilt pattern is called "Let sleeping cats lie" by Helene Knott, presented by Story Quilts. I hope you can find it! It's an older pattern, maybe 2007 or 2008.
Its called "psycho cats" and you can also find an all over version pinterest. :)
What a brilliant idea to send you a pack and play for the studio. So many talented and generous people. Can't wait to see Samantha is some of those outfits.
Laura has brought so much enjoyment to my life and I just had to send something and so I wanted to send something super super useful for the studio. All I could think of was her trying to lug a bassinet or playpen back and forth with baby. I'm so thrilled she is using it!

I'm from Germany and was overjoyed to see you got a Rosenthal dish. I have my mother's treasured Rosenthal dishes. Rosenthal is a famous porcelain company in Germany. People really love ❤️ you and your family. So excited to see all those darling clothes for Samantha Grace and toys/books for Benjamin. Even the kitties got a treat.
I started watching you back in April, 2020, when pretty much everything was on lockdown, and you and your family have brought so much joy, knowledge, and laughter to me. I started tearing up when you opened my gift on camera, and I was weeping when you read that poem about the wee bonnet. Hi Laura, I just want to let you know that some essential oils are bad for pets, just in case you plan to use a diffuser. I’ve experienced it with my dog. I love watching your planting videos and have been watching some of the older stuff as I wait for spring!
One of my favorite things about Laura opening mail is her genuine appreciation for every item. The little gingham dress would be great for a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) costume if it fits at that time.

I thought it was just me, but there's something so satisfying about these videos Laura's smile is so endearing...feels like you know her. Seems like the windows of heaven are opened wide on the whole family.
I love to see and hear about all the things people send. Everyone sends such beautiful, touching and creative things and im always writing down and trying to hear about childrens books, and products that are handy. And oh my the beautiful antiques and ornaments are just perfect. And the sweet handmade blankets and clothes...I cried, laughed and ooh and aaahed the whole time....its one of my favorite times....and its so neat how a garden channel and a community combines...so needed in this time of upheaval and seclusion.

I’m so glad you opened Mary’s on camera. Even though I don’t think I had any of her books growing up, I immediately recognized the style of her illustrations. She’s marvelous! What a sweet gift.

Loved it when you pronounced peOnies. That’s the way I learned to say it as well. I grew up in the Tri Cities, WA and my grandfather, who lived next door to me, grew the most beautiful peOnies and always had a bouquet of them for me to take home with me when they were in season. He would sell them to the public around Memorial Day. He had an old, hand painted, red and white sign he would put in front of his house that said “Peonies 4 Sale.” People loved his peOnies. 🥰

I LOVE your mail times. They make me cry and laugh. Your followers are so talented. The knitted dresss and blanket made me cry. It was so sweet and beautiful. And the bonnet to turn into a handkerchief for her wedding day! I have a couple of my Meme's handkerchiefs. I also cry at Cardinals because they were my Dad's favorite. I used to sit and watch Dad's feeders from the window in the winter just to see the Cardinals and Robins. As a child we don't think about the fact the simple things we enjoy are going to be such great memories later.
Some people are great at sewing, some knitting, others are skilled at wood working and paper crafts, and then there are farmers and gardeners, who feed us ALL! You inspire me daily to learn a new skill set🥰
