oh my goodness... this was the video i was waiting for... i opened youtube and squealed out loud in the middle of a starbucks... talk about getting dirty looks... so worth it though... my little gay heart just burst with excitement... gotta love some bling... your videos make me so happy... thank you for sharing your process with us all...
Beautiful work...wanted to ask about the glue you use for the rhinestones, is it better than e6000 or gemtac? Noticed you used it for bigger stones as well.
E6000 fabri-fuse is my favourite glue for stoning. I find it easier to use than regular E6000 because it's a bit thinner which makes it easier to get nice small dots of glue on the fabric. The the pointy nozzle on the tube it comes in gives good control over glue size and placement as well. With big stones, I do often sew them on as well. The ones with foil backing can come off the foil after a while. I haven't used gemtac for a while, but found that it didn't hold stones on fabric as well as fabri-fuse does. But I know that a lot of people swear by gemtac so each to their own! It's fabri-fuse for me, and regular E6000 for materials that the fabri-fuse doesn't work on (metal and other hard surfaces).
