Excellent from start to finish. You showed more information, technique and quality in 6 minutes than I have been able to see in 6 hours elsewhere. The video quality was superior to many others too. Thank you.
Did I just see what I think I saw? First, cutting the traces with absolutely no burr raised in the copper; a notorious material to machine. Then, milling the solder mask so precisely that the copper underneath appears unblemished. This is pure magic! I’m going to have to get me some of those cutters. Magnificent video!
Hi I would like to know if this works for heal welding paste? www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B018C71QHI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496107658&sr=8-1&keywords=QUANS+110V+20W+UV+Ultra+Violet+High+Power+LED&dpPl=1&dpID=51Gx6Lp91VL&ref=plSrch
Best video of homemade PCB that I ever seen. Excellent result! The UV solder mask solution was what I was looking for. Now it's time to buy this CNC engraver. It's not expensive.
It is little bit pricy, but when I compare this video and some other cheaper Chinese CNC that I have, the end result is just awesome, I still can't believe that this is done on CNC. It makes me think again to try this one :)
Actually, if you compare it with more expensive machines, It doesn't look bad at all. Not expensive, costy I would say. Can't convince my boss to get it >,> I'll have to get by with a cheap one.
We are not the kind who think things too much. After a few hours, we are already buying one :v We don't need it to be that precise, we just need to improve and speed up our prototyping. We liked the Voltera though, thanks for letting me know.
I wanted the same few month ago, and ended up buying small CNC for that, but it turns out it was useless, I was getting much better and faster results with simple photoresist dry film. This CNC looks very precise, but lack of automatic z-axis sensor can be pain in the but :)
you can buy rivets on ebay and stick them in the via holes to make the connection from one side to the other that is what i have done in the past with homemade double sided boards
So in a nutshell, Step 1: Design the PCB Step 2: Mill out the traces (from a blank, copper-laminated board) Step 3: Apply solder mask (to protect the exposed traces) Step 4: mill the solder mask off the contact pads (to allow you to solder components onto their traces) step 5: Drill any necessary holes and cut out the PCB Step 6: Protect the now-exposed copper contact pads from corrosion with tinning solution PCB DONE
Hi and thank's for your video. Too easy because simple side. But your milling and drilling methods seams to be well improved and reliable. I'm beginning the tasks of "electroplating through holes" at home. With my CNC i'm just drilling holes as a first operation. I etch with the paint burning method using a laser.
Yes, we used the spiral bit and the V-bit....all you can see on our website wegstr.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=61. Feed rate is 170 mm/min.
I think this machine milled it's own bedding which ensures the gantry and bedding are aligned very well. As long as you lock your pcbs down correctly it should allow you to skip auto levelling. However if you dont' want to mill a bed (which is pretty easy). For a software solution: You can autolevel in the Gcode itself (wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?PCB_Milling_And_Drilling_With_Cheap_And_Simple_Height-Probing) It looks a little odd to use but basically, the steps consist of downloading the github files and running a python script. The generated G-code does height probing before cutting, it gives perfect results every time.
Excellent from start to finish.

Thank you.
The quality is impressive.
thank you very much :)
fuck this shit the best video on pcb making .....
yea
Absolutely the best I've ever seen. Wow.
helloworld
So awesome! I'm impresed with the quality!
Wassuappp guys wllcome back 😂

That is absolutely fabulous! Great job.
Thanks!

This would work to cure the UV solder mask as it outputs UV light if you are unable to leave it outside to cure.
Joop Brokking Hey it's great to see you here. I think you'll build this thing in your next project, as you selects the best project
Joop Brokking
i can't believe how perfect this turned out
hi i watched many video of making pcb but i have to say this is the best video i have seen wow i love it sooooooo much
thank you
The best quality pcb milling I've seen thus far.
Tak tohle mně dostalo. Coby strojař a obdivovatel cnc, smekám. Dokonalé, nádherné, perfektní PORNO. LÍBÍ !!!
One of the best boards I've seen, stunning work.
Thanks for the comment!
Absolutely beautiful. The milling of the solder mask is awesome.
Amazing!!! The creator is very compent. Congrats

мой мозг от таких видео улетает в нирвану you super
Very professional, congratulations. Thumb up.
I could watch this thing make boards all day.
that is the beautiful thing i have ever saw in pcb creation
That pcb locks at least as good as if it was produced by a professional pcb manufacturer. Maybe even better...

Отличная технология pcb. Спасибо
Muito além de uma simples placa, uma obra de arte.
Meus parabéns ao cara que fez tudo isso 👏
Tak to je hustěkrutopřísný :-)))) parádní prácička...
Diky :)
Quedó muy prolija. Felicitaciones!
Amazing man.... using domestic items and making PCB...
Yes, everyone has a CNC milling machine under their beds
Very nice video that gives a great view on how a very professional PCB can be made in small quantities and short turnaround time. Thanks!
То же самое я делал в 70-х годах прошлого столетия.Только вручную и резаком. )) Прогресс...
Просто вся суть в том что ты делал, а этот чел только сверла менял )))
To WEGSTR CNC : perfect and professional : I desire to have it. !
Paráda (y) Jen tak dál!!!
На это можно смотреть бесконечно. Шикарная точность и качество.
What a cool use for an Arduino!
I'm truly enthral by your video. i always like unique things, innovative things. thank u so much for uploading such professional quality stuff.
great video. what brand of soldermask did you use?
Damn good! I can't even tell the difference the factory made and this one.
now I just need a job to be able to buy that CNC machine x'D
Just wanted to remind you that RUclips has a no porn policy.
Outstanding video work. And what a awesome cnc machine!
ȘTIAM. Sunt cei mai buni din Domeniu..!!! 😮😮😊😊😅😅🎉🎉
Great!!
But very expencive

I would think twice if you plan to use cheaper one for PCBs, it won't be that precise...maybe to take a look at something like Voltera One
We are not the kind who think things too much.

The real thing looks better than the simulated one. Nice job!
Beautiful video demonstration!
what about via holes in double sided PCB
you can buy rivets on ebay and stick them in the via holes to make the connection from one side to the other that is what i have done in the past with homemade double sided boards
I was wondering if the tinning step took care of that, I suppose not.
The tinning "sticks" to the exposed copper, so there is not any copper inside the holes only around them, so the tinning does not stay in the holes.
What about the double sided & Via ?
You make it look so easy!
Congrats, very impressive (and beautiful)
Best pcb i've ever seen
Вот это уже ближе к делу. Паяльная маска это хорошо ))
Pcb looks better from factory. WOW!
super. very nice. quality is wonderful...
Look awesome! Now I want one of this CNC machines ;_;
wow exelent. good work..👍
Profesionally made 👍
Dude! We are really living in the future!
Which chemical are used for tinning
what synphony was used in this video?? I love it.
wow, ver good job! How does the engraving bit with the spring work?
So amazing watching this video 🤗
wow, that is beautiful! :)
amei o projeto . onde consigo cnc dessa ???
background music is LIT😍
Im amazed! Thanks for the video.
Wow! It's very cool!
Второй раз смотрю красатище то какая аж матом не хочется ругаться
PERFECT! great video as well. Nice job man.
quality is amazing.....
the final result is impressive
Fine illustrated....
that was awesome friend!
Bit lengthy process but absolutely gorgeous result.
Great job
Hi, nice video! What is tinning? Witch sostance is? Thanks!
Hello, it is tinning liquid and it is good to protect the PCB before oxydation.
good. wish you happy day.!
This is one professional PCB
Hi, great video. How to realign the PCB to etch the solder mask? Tks
So in a nutshell,
Step 1: Design the PCB
Step 2: Mill out the traces (from a blank, copper-laminated board)
Step 3: Apply solder mask (to protect the exposed traces)
Step 4: mill the solder mask off the contact pads (to allow you to solder components onto their traces)
step 5: Drill any necessary holes and cut out the PCB
Step 6: Protect the now-exposed copper contact pads from corrosion with tinning solution
PCB DONE
Was looking for a comment that summarizes the process... Cheers!!!

When it is milling the PCB where does the dust goes?
The dust is cleaned by air
tailored to perfection
Great Electronics Company
Very clean cuts. Which engraving bit are you using? Looks like a spiral V bit. What feed rate?
Yes, we used the spiral bit and the V-bit....all you can see on our website wegstr.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=61. Feed rate is 170 mm/min.
where did you get this background music, this is soo awesome!!
Excellent quality. +++++!
The quality is impressive. what is the last chemical used?
Holy crap, that's gorgeous.
such a beautiful board ...
Hey, AMAZING JOB!!! What's the background music?
Just awesome ! Carry on !
realmente increíble acabado :D
amazing!
woww
excellent product
Is it normal that I get relaxed when i watch PCBs being milled
nice video.
curious on the spring bit. where can i pickup one of them
What are you using for tinning the pcb?? Do the vias been plated??
gere364 It is common tinning liquid. The vias are not there but video with vias is in preparation..
This is beautiful!
Great Job Sir
How does the machine maintain an even depth of cut on PCB? Thx.
There are other softwares for that like Autoleveller, PCB Probe and OpenCNCPilot.
I think this machine milled it's own bedding which ensures the gantry and bedding are aligned very well.

Nice toy. How about a handheld oscilloscope?
that's just perfect
Thanks!
Very nice. Have you done some component mask?
