Definitely want to try TAC one day. I’m glad to hear you can go solo and do it. I’m a loaner in the sport where I’m at, so it would be cool to go shoot and hang out with some like minded people who just enjoy archery. Thanks for the video, hope your channel takes off man!!!!
Man definitely go. I legit showed up in a cut off and shorts and ended up having the time of my life a second year in a row......okay maybe time of my life is an extreme way of putting it. But all in all, it's very fun man and you will definitely find people that are like minded. Community defiantly helps the sport get that much more fun. I hope your local community builds ups soon. And dude thanks for the hopes for the channel. I would be happy if it grows for sure.
Glad I’ve had a front row seat witnessing your progression! Also, chasing and shooting with you has caused me to get better! Hyped for the next phase of your archery journey bro! Road to pro! They don’t know what’s coming! FQ!
i left my house at 1am and drove to Tennesse TAC last year by myself. it was a 7hr drive down and 7 back the same day. i found some guys on the course and ended up shooting with them since i was solo. this year my whole family wanted to go , took my Mom , Sister and Nephew down to GA . unlike me driving down and back it cost a small fortune. i would of camped or slept in my truck by myself but they wasn't having that. we shot Saturday in GA in the rain we had to get off the bus because of the storm and wait a bit before they took us back to the UV course. im running the vortex diamondback 12x50s i know there are better bino's but these work just fine . i debated 10x50s but figured if i need less ill just use my 7x range finder. i ran the UV3 + Landslyde at TAC my first year its a great setup. always the nicest people at TAC and i smoked that 70yard downhill over the road shot at TAC GA on the cobra with tons of people watching and it was raining hard. my sister yelled you hit that little snake ? one of the few far shots i shot inside out. the GA Clay was so messy in the rain.
Dude I don't know how I never responded to this. But man! Your story is so much like mine. I love to hear all of whatbuou shared for sure. I definitely have been struggling to get all the red clay off my boots still to this day. But the day was so fun all the same. I have no complaints.
I went to TAC last year at Seven Springs for the first time. I was shooting by myself (my wife was with me but she was just shooting video) and each course i was on i ended up joining a smaller group or another solo individual. I just walked up and asked if i could join them, and then had a very pleasant time and got into a lot of fun conversations. I even met some people who recognized me from my channel or were customers (which is surreal when it happens for the first time.) The whole event has an aire of "community" to it. The participants come from all different socioeconomic levels and backgrounds; and we're all there to do the same thing: lose and break arrows while having fun doing it 😂. I'll be a Seven Springs next week. Really looking forward to it. As for going Pro, it's all about networking and marketability. Grow your RUclips channel, go to events, talk with manufacturers, network with other content creators, and see where it goes. That being said, it's more fun when you don't rely on it to pay your bills.
Dude!!! I love it man! I Totally agree with everything you said. Definitely community oriented. Enjoy the Seven Springs trip. that will defiantly be very fun. And thanks man. I appreciate the advice. I don't see my self stopping my full time gig since I love it also so much. I simply want to compete with the big boys and see what those boogie men are really doing in the dark. I want to see what top level guys are actually doing in person. Looking forward to seeing where all of this takes me.
Great video! That’s why I love bow hunting/archery because it’s a sport for the masses. It’s healthy mentally and physically and gets you into the great outdoors. Keep grinding!
@@walderman55 Yes sir, anytime. I have been doing it for 40 years and love it more now than I did and I believe as archers/bow hunters we should always stick together no matter where you are in your journey. You definitely gained a follower.
@@gemeni69 Dude thats encouraging. I appreciate that. And man, 40 years is a good chunk of time. Thats pretty awesome! So I have a question for you actually if thats cool. Since you have had so much time in archery, have you felt that there is a divide between the Bow hunting and archery community? or has that been pretty seemless?

That’s funny because my father calls archery and bow hunting a white peoples stuff. I told him it’s mainly hard working people stuff. You have to work hard to acquire your equipment and to buy your tags and gear. Also to hit three or four 3D shoots a month. So if it’s a white peoples sport then call this Hispanic/Apache white😂😂😂
