I watch a lot of the drain cleaning in the UK. It always amazes me at how low the hose pressure is. My outdoor hose will peel the paint off brick. lol I had to put a pressure reducer on
Good job, just wondering someone said 'roots', which made me think is the main sewage system is damaged ie blocked by roots which means all this work is pointless it is down to water broad to fix the issue not you, as you don't know way the direction the 'tree roots' a coming from, what I mean is trees from main street is growing up the drain into home owners property costing them money to clear it. Also the tree roots might be coming from the tree near your van, which might mean it could be blocked somewhere else ie neighbours houses
Their is a large tree outside her house, the roots were coming through drain wall, from the property to the interceptor is the owners responsibility, as the interceptor was cleared, and water was flowing through ok, the roots had not caused any more damage.
Why not first scoop out the rubbish, clear the blockage, then put the rubbish back in and flush. much faster than the hassle of soaking and so on. work smarter and not longer unless you get paid by the hour.

Sometimes it can take over an Hour to fill a 350 Ltr tank, water pressure is useless in the UK
