Greetings from Sony India. Thank you for patronizing Sony product.
This is in reference to your email dated 24-Feb-2022 and subsequent telecommunication with our executive from our Authorized Service Centre - M/S. Excellent Infosys, regarding the service of your BRAVIA Television Model No. KDL-43W800D, bearing serial No. 8577669, purchased in the year 2017.
This is also in reference to e-mails dated 24-Feb-2022, sent by the undersigned, in this regard.
We sincerely apologise for the typo error for wrongly sent earlier email that (On product inspection, we found that Main Board & FFC Cable to be replaced for the satisfactory working of TV).
We had received your product service request at our Authorized Service Centre - M/S. Excellent Infosys, dated 22-Feb-2022, vide Job No. JA0249900 for the symptom - lines on screen. On product inspection, we found that Mounted T Con Board & FFC Cable to be replaced for the satisfactory working of TV. As already explained in our earlier email that, a standard warranty of one year is provided to our customers for any unfortunate failures in the product. Beyond this service becomes chargeable. We regret for the failure in your product. Service Estimate of Rs. 11601.76/- has been shared with you for the replacement of the Mounted T Con Board & FFC Cable.
This matter has been discussed with our management is aware of your concern and resolution given to you. Appropriately empowered and authorized persons have interacted with you. The resolution offered to you is from the company and may please be treated as final.
We would once again request you to approve the estimate so that we can carry out with the necessary services in your set. Kindly let us know your decision on or before 03-Mar- 2022, days as we shall keep this service request open till then..

Samsung have massive issues as well, most of these companies actually buy the same parts, they are not so different and they seem to wish to scam people by premature retire peoples Tv's after the warranty are no longer valid.

Mine was just 3 years old and it had similar issues while playing videos. But now the display has just turned black and a person from their company came to check and the guy said we need a new display. And what kinda brand doesn't give even a warranty of 4 years, what a ridiculously greedy company this is.

Song designed to brake after 2 years the amount of sony tvs 55” curved comes in to the recycling centre that have vertical lines is actualy crazy. Brakes my heart. Lol

Also this problem is easily fixable just by replacing tcon board for 30-50$
Will it work on my tv? It's just 3 years old and it's screen turned black, tried everything that was said to be done in YT but alas nothing worked.
Had that issue with my Samsung, usually when the temperatur in the room was around 0-5 degrees when i turned it on, had to wait until i got my temperatur up to around 15 and it is then fine when i turn it on.
My Samsung have serious issues with the motherboard ior capacitor.

Damn that sucks ive had my bravia set for almost 9 years and not one problem every brand always has a bad one though. Sometimes you get unlucky. My set has lasted a long time. Sony is still a very reliable brand ive seen plenty of people with vizio and tcl that break within months

Which model is that? My last one was a 2013 sony lcd its still going after 10 years now. I just bought a sony oled had it 6 months and still going im sure you could get it fixed if you want too if not id get an oled. Oled’s are amazing

Same problem in my TV also. Sony Bravia 55 inch,. Waste of money 70,000rs. Contact customer care to fix that problem, they are asking 28,000 rs, really very disappointed sony. Don't buy any of sony products. Within 2 years it is happened, even though they are not reducing money.
