Just remember Bob Marley was a revolutionary Rastafari. He was not only about one love. Through his music he broke down racial barriers, white supremacy, political injustices, black redemption and the unification of Africans. Let’s not forget he was a Rebel . One love ❤️
The sad thing is that he was killed. The person who killed him confessed on his death bed.
Il a brisé la suprématie blanche??? Vous croyez ?
Omg! There is just so much to celebrate about Bob Marley. He should be a National hero! God bless him
Yes Bob was clearly a great thinker, especially when it comes to talking about the unification of continental Africans with Africans across the diaspora. I like these two songs, “ Buffalo Soldier and “ No Woman, No Cry”. Bob Marley’s music was so lyrically conscious, I love listening to the words more than I do dancing to his songs. RIP Nesta!
Bob Marley is mixed, his dad was a white man and his mom a black woman. See the movie one love and learn more about him and how he got his inspiration for music and the messages in his music.
Ms Trudy thankful to you for you and your husband for visiting Jamaica 🇯🇲 I’m a fellow RUclipsr and I am humbled by your contents thus far. One love “fulljoy Jamaica “🇯🇲 !!!!

Hey Miss Trudy. Msisahau kurudi Africa jameni. All your Jamaican vlogs are lit. Thank you for taking me to Jamaica from the comfort of my sofa.
Hahaha! We might not come back
I’m ecstatic!!! Very, very proud to be a Jamaican wouldn’t change that for the world. 🇯🇲
Awwwwwww! You guys are blessed
Currently I’m living in California but will admit that Africa is true love. Been to Ghana a year ago for three weeks and totally fell in love with everything ….. the people and country. I was so happy to finally visit the home of my cultural background …. an everlasting experience. My dream and desire is to visit and explore Africa in all its glory. I was very touched with hardship there so I did my act of kindness when returned by donating big quantities of foods, books, clothes, toys, shoes etc to many areas in Ghana. Hopefully, I’m praying that will only be a start. Kenya ,Tanzania, and Nigeria next. Glad to have you and yours in Jamaica. One love 🇯🇲
@@MissTrudyy If you are still in Jamaica you both have to go to the actual house Bob was born in. It's in Nine Mile village , St. Ann. It will bring tears to your eyes to know someone who came from such humble beginnings touched the world. You have to make that trip. It's far but worth it.. No vloggers been there. Look if there are tours from Ochie that goes there, You guys should also visit a sugar plantation house to see where the slaves were forced to do hard labor and go to a great house where the slave masters lived. They are called great houses. There is Brimmer Hall Plantationin. Brimmer hall was built 1817 There is also Seville Great house. Look on Google. for Jamaican plantations houses. No African vloggers every been to one.
You guy have to stay one year in Jamaca to see the whole island. You have'nt been to the Vere plains which is central> Bob's father was a white Jamaican born in Clarendon which is in Vere. You haven't been to the South Coast the parish of St. Elizabeth has Lovers Leap.
@@MissTrudyyThank you...we are so blessed🇯🇲🙏🏾❤ But a lot of other Caribbean islands dislike us because they can't be us🇯🇲
Yes my dear, been Jamaican is a flex especially when I traveled to other countries and they heard my accent, then ask where’s I’m from, when I tell them Jamaica, I got royal treatment, and a mean majority countries. I am so proud to be Jamaican, I love my country more and more when I saw the big impact it has on the world, in every country there is something for Jamaica there I’m speechless at times, I would’ve sued my parents if I wasn’t born and grow in Jamaica. One love everyone who supports and love my place of birth.
Trudy I recently stumbled upon and subscribed to you and your husband’s channels. Because of you both I’m so inspired and plans to visit Africa hopefully soon if God’s will. I was born in Jamaica but resides in the USA for past 34 years now. You both are so amazing, I binge watch both your channels.
Welcome to the family 😀🙌🏼. We are so happy to have you ❤
I also binge watch here in the land downunder Sydney NSW
I don't know your itinerary princess and the weight of your pocket. But how I wish you could visit many more Caribbean countries. Haiti would have been another country I would have loved you to visit. Unfortunately.............
Thank you for your suggestion. It might take some time… but I will visit this counties for sure! Stay tuned in…

MS TRUDY I BET THE GUY WHO GIVE HIS TEL # PHONE IS RINGING OFF NOW! ❤ WHO AGREES?💯❤🥰🇰🇳
Hahaha! 😅
My favorite Bob song by far is WAR! The way the music from that track is composed from Emperor Haile Selassie UN speech is brilliant and always ignites something in me.
Oh! It so?! I have to check it out!
@MissTrudyy Hey Trudy, definitely listen to that song I think you would love it. Even "Zimbabwe" is another great liberation song that ignites my spirit. ❤❤❤
Big chune
@@blissedout5859Zimbabwe song was our guerrilla liberation fighters' war song in Zimbabwe's war of independence which culminated into the capitulation of the white colonisers in 1980. Guess what who was guest of honour at our independence handover ceremony in Rufaro Stadium...Bob Marley & The Wailers. He sang the song Zimbabwe as the UK flag was coming down and Zimbabwe flag was going up. There are many videos on RUclips of performance. The Zimbabwe song is our unofficial second national anthem. Jamaica is highly regarded in Zimbabwe as a result. Reggae and Dancehall is the biggest music genre in Zimbabwe...with an offshoot of homegrown Zimdancehall
@@AFRICA_THE_NOW_AND_THE_FUTUREThank you for sharing insight/info behind the song. I have seen footage of his performance in Zimbabwe in a documentary film years ago by one of his granddaughters, Donisha I believe. I felt chills just watching on screen the crowd erupt when he came on stage. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be there in person. The simplicity and intention of his message is why he's a legend. Liberation and Unification!
A big flex mama that’s why the other countries don’t like us so much

Wow, thank you
She's not ancient .she is very up-to-date... Oh, sorry, you mean her accent. Apology. One love ❤️
The Lion is a reference to the Rastafarian religion and the conquering Lion of Judah. That's of course if I'm not mistaken it for another more personal meaning.
Yes, plus the strength & resilience of the African sprite within us the king & queen.
HER NAME IS BEVERLY KELSO SHE WAS THE ORIGINAL PART OF BOB MARLEY AND THE WAILERS
O! Thanks for sharing 😀
Trudy his Father is white and Mother is Black, yes he is mixed
Thanks for the information!
Wow!! That's amazing, Miss Trudy. My favourite song is 'redemption song'
Awwwwwww, that’s a deep song!
Being Jamaican is a vibe and I live in New York and the vibe is strong.
You are blessed
Trust me, at one point EVERYONE wanted to be Jamaican....when immigrants moved to America unfortunately Haitians and Africans were treated so poorly by the Americans. But Jamaicans were welcomed with open arms! Till this day, Jamaica is very influential in the US and ALL over the 🌎 ❤🇯🇲🙏🏾
The lion represents the lion of Judah/ emperor Haille Selasie, conquering lion of Judah / Ethiopia, descendants of Queen of Sheba, Moses, King David, the Hebrew Israelites, 12 tribes of Israel, Bob Marley locks, crown, associated with the lion's mane, dread locs. Some of the 12 tribes, Gad, Judah, Nyabingi etc. 12 altogether scattered throughout the world, UK, Caribbean, Africa etc. The tribe of Benjamin is the Jamaican. The congos and music played, roots, nyabingi, bingi-i and the chosen people / men known as Earth man. Much more to research. King James Bible and the Apokrofer etc. 🦁

Miss Trudy Bob Marley father was white and his mother was black ,but he was extremely proud of his African roots ,there are stories about him doing things to his hair to give it a full African looks.
Oh! Nice! I could tell he was proud to be African from his music…

The BIGGEST FLEX!!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Ms. Trudy and Wode Maya .❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awwwwwww! ❤❤❤
Trudy a simplistic overall explanation is because Bob idolize HIM, His Imperial Majesty, Haile Sellassie King of Kings and conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah. In the same breadth, the colors on your Dress Red, Green and Gold is on the fla of a few African Nations but in this specific case its for Ethiopia
Oh. Okay… now I get it. Thank you.
It is an honor being Jamaican!!!!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

You looked at a photo of Bob Marley with the Wailers and a lady in a blue dress. That lady was Michael Jackson's mother. It was around 18-20mins in. Awesome content.
The real Rastaman grows his hair like that of a lions mane. Thick and lumpy .
Apparently! I thought they do it in the salon.😄
@@MissTrudyy no, fashion dreadlocks is made in the salon. Real Rasta don't use a comb. They just let the hair grow and black people hair is like a magnet, the hair grows in lump. It is just recently that some rastas are going to salon to get their locks grease and new growth twist.

His move dropped in most places tomorrow let’s show up and go and watch our legendary Bob.
I can’t wait to watch it!
Bob Marley was killed. The person who killed him confessed when he was on his death bed.
Don't think that all Jamaicans feel that way. Bob Marley was never discussed in my home or my family's friends homes. Bob is not an icon to me. Notice his sons are not married to anyone that looks like black or Africans.
Queen Trudy, will you be taking us to other parishes in Jamaica? I would really love to see their uniqueness through your lenses.
Yea! I will stay tuned in 😊
Get up stand up is my favorite song by Bob Marley. We need to make him a national hero. Rastafari has been one of the biggest reasons why Jamaica is so renowned.
I know! Right?
MS TRUDY I THINK U NEED TO PUT A CLEARER PHOTO OF BOB MARLEY ❤ WHO AGREE WITH ME ?💯🥰🇰🇳❤❤

The Lion represents Emperor Haile Selassie I as well as being a symbol of strength, kingship, pride and African sovereignty. On 2 November 1930, under the title of Haile Selassie I, the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Elect of God, Tafari Makonnen (Ras Tafari) was crowned as the Negusa Negast, the King of the Kings of Ethiopia.
I always tried to decipher that phrase. Thanks for writing it. It has a buzz when the rastas chant it followed by the heavy drum beat..
