I recently bought the 500 and the 500 bass module, hooked up to my LG c1 55IN oled TV it's completely changed my viewing experience, especially movies, the whole room is filled with smooth, deep velvety bass with clear trebles and dialogue, love it !! Cost me a thousand quid though, is it worth it? OH YESSSSS !!! PS....my 500 came with a hdmi cable and a optical cable.
I'm not sure but the 700 should have two HDMI connectors, that nobody seems to mention in reviews and it is an additional feature that kind of frees up a HDMI port on your TV. Meaning that you do not lose the one used for ARC as the signal from the second HDMI port (in/out) goes through the SoundBar to the TV. That is a quite handy thing. Great review though!
I have the 700 sound bar with Sub & surround . All is wireless with direct power plugs. Gotta have the Sub to really feel the sound in my opinion. This is crystal clear sound at it's finest. Bose has the best customer service by far and makes the cost justified. 10/10 in my book
Carl Trommetter same here! I don’t know why everyone hates on bose, I can’t fault my system. I have the 700 with the sub and honestly I can’t fault it it’s so clear and punchy. Only con is I wish it had Dolby atoms but I think it makes up for that in the clarity over the other sound bars which sound abit muddy at High volumes
@Harrison Klapos atoms out of a soundbar versus several speakers above and around you isn’t too realistic, but Bose makes the best out of such a simple setup.

It is May 2020. Have ordered a Bose 500 soundbar with matching wireless subwoofer from Costco for $799. The lack of Dolby Atmos has me a bit concerned, but instinctively I feel that in all these years, Dolby Digital has done a terrific job, and I think maybe I won't worry about this. Anyone concerned about the lack of Atmos in the Bose 500/700? The real reason I ordered the 500 bundle is that it uses HDMI eARC which I understand is the wave of the future as regards lightning fast audio connection from and to the TV. So I have to look for a TV that can use that feature. Samsung TVs do not; the top of the line LG and Sony do.
Handy Hunsonite , I don’t think you have any idea, what is a good sound system, if you call “Bose is king” , do you know? they are made as cheap as possible , you are just paying for just the brand, no quality at all

$200 more you say? It’s about $400 more in Australia. We just bought a Sony 4K Smart TV so we can’t afford a Soundbar. But when we do get one the 700 is my first choice.

I also have the Sonos Playbase and I do agree on the Bass level being higher on the Sonos. It all depends on how loud you are watching as well. I feel the Sonos has more sound on the lower volumes than Bose does. Did you increase the bass on the App?
How does this compare with Samsung harman kardon k850? I wanted to buy Samsung but guy in the store told me that I should not care about Dolby Atmos in Samsung and buy Bose 700. What do you think?
Danny, I just picked up my Bose sound system I paired up the 500 soundbar with the 700 base module along with surrounding speakers. The sound quality between the two are very similar and in my opinion the 500 sounded cleaner. Initial setup and adding the base was a bit frustrating. But once it syncs its really easy to control. Do you have any reviews on the surrounding speakers? I am still on the fence about them.
I have the surround speakers with my 300 system. Absolutely love them. I hear everything. I have them behind my couch and it helps me hear everything without having to increase the volume (I watch TV pretty loudly). Big round full sound.
Danny, can you make an educated guess on when we can expect BOSE to release new models that might even feature current audio standards? ;-) (and/or upfiring speakers etc etc.. ) this year maybe or do we normally look at 5 years ?
At the beginning of the video, you mentioned how you teamed up with Bose. Any review of a product should not be attached to any manufacturer because your opinions instantly lose any credibility.
What do you honestly think of the Polk soundbars have you heard them. I know in the past you could really crank a polk speaker up and there was good quality there.
I think that everything you say regarding power is subjective, while the Bose brand does not indicate the actual power emitted by the speaker, what sounds strong to you for others may be weak. Don't get me wrong, I know that the Bosé brand always has a good sound but it would help a lot and it would be more realistic to indicate the power in watts RMS. Greetings.
I have a question peeps I have just bought an lg Tv that has come with Dolby atmos. If were to purchase the Bose would the tv be able to pipe through the atmos to the none atmos sound bar anyone please?
If I want the 500 and plan to mount it to the wall, the power supply in the cord would be dangling, correct? So I would say the 500 isn't really meant to be mounted to a wall.
@Danny, is it possible to connect the home speaker 500 to soundbar 700 as you mentioned to produce more surround sound and also for party mode? I have both and if it's possible I'd be keen on setting it up. Thanks.
I have the Bose soundbar 700. The bar itself produces a lot of bass, try to airplay some bass rich songs or audio and see if that’s enough bass for you before purchasing.

Mordakie same speaker. Trust me I’ve called and asked Bose. Same exact specks but the 700 has Alexa plus a better remote.

In terms of sound quality the 300 and 700 are the same. Only thing you'd get from upgrading would be Alexa and the better Bose Music application.
