Love this introduction to this dive shop! It is good to know just what goes into running a successful shop - and wow, it is seroiusly a lot of moving pieces! What a cool group of passionate dive professionals! It is inspiring to see others in the industry making such a positive impact, especially with new divers. Bravo!
Awesome video James and huge thanks! I’ve heard so many times “there’s no diving near Tampa” and it really disappointed me as I’m hoping to spend a lot more time there. I’ll definitely be going straight to this dive center!!!
I love how Jamesy covers different topics. 5 star is what the dive shop provides in terms of quality not what PADI's bottom dollar dictates. Good clip Jamsey.
That was an awesome film James! I thoroughly enjoyed watching that and glad you got to dive the Gulf. I grew up diving the Gulf off the Alabama and North Florida coast.
Awesome video! Theses guys are who you want to dive with in Tampa and around Florida! True professionals! Thanks for highlighting them! Let’s go diving!
Excellent video! Really enjoyed seeing and getting to know more about Adventure Outfitters. Looks like a great crew and it's really awesome of you to highlight them. Would love to see more videos like this one. Keep up the amazing work on your channel!
Great info! We move to Tampa from Chicago next month. I'm new to scuba diving - this was reassuring that I can start slow and have fun! I'll definitely reach out to them to get started 😊 🌊🐟🐠🏖️
1 am landlocked ks amping up for a dive trip next wk and decided to watch some of your old content. this video made me realize really just how much work you put into divers ready. genuine legit hard work. you busted ass to give these folks a great plug man ! i tried to go buy the american immersion in ebooks but its not there. thats honestly saddening id have made that buy tonight. always enjoy your vids man ... an after thought ... these folks did seem nervous in the beginning but calmed down and gave a real nice shop presentaiton. a GOOD instructor and friend will not let you forget to tip the people that have it coming. dont be THAT GUY that needs reminded. tip your crews people.
I live in Tampa and watching this video I’m so regret to not go to this place, I had a terrible experience going to a different dive shop in the area but thank you James, I’ll definitely gonna check out with this guys
Great video. Sounds like a nice shop. I go to Florida often to visit family. I will have to definitely visit them when in area next time. Surprised that this was the only shop to reach out to you about the offer though.
Thank you for this! My wife and I are planning to move to the Tampa area in the next month or two (from Richmond VA) and I am hoping to eventually advance to be a dive professional, so being able to get so much information from one of the local dive shops is amazing. I'm kinda in love with all these guys now! Once we get down to Tampa, I will be sure to make Adventure Outfitters my first stop in picking a local dive shop. ... I'll also stop by your shop, next time I'm on the other coast too :-)
Our industry needs so much more of this! Thank you James for making this video and I can't wait to see more like this once the Rona has passed. Maybe make this a new segment on a certain day every few weeks. We would love to have you in California if you are ever out West!
Great fan of the channel and my friends and I found this shop on our first trip down to Venice to dive for meg teeth. Such great people and super helpful (might be bias as they are from our home state of Colorado). Awesome video - such a cool idea!
Cool Batfish! I'm glad you showed some of the diving as well as the Dive Op. As someone who has only dived over on the Atlantic side of FL I have been wondering about the Gulf side. It was nice of you to spotlight this family-owned Dive Op. I think we will try the gulf side soon and when we do we will dive with Adventure Outfitters.
Did you dive the Blackthorn? Also, would love to see a video about Dive Pirates; they do adaptive dive training for people with serious injuries, para and quadraplegia.
@@kevindivesflorida3201 That's awesome! My brother and I grew up St Petersburg. In 2007 my brother had a motorcycle accident that claimed the life of his wife and left him with an amputated right arm and a traumatic brain injury. Through the Dive Pirates Foundation, he realized that life was still worth living! Dive Pirates is a non-profit org that sponsors divers in need of adaptive training. I highly encourage you to check out divepirates(dot)org and see if it is a right fit for your shop. They are always looking for affiliate/partner dive shops.
Looks like a great shop to me. Unfortunately I’m stuck in Germany so I can’t come and visit. Love your wife’s mask btw 😄 how did she do that to her nose pocket?
No. There’s no thought or design specifically to keep lower income people out. There are many hobbies I cannot afford. It is what it is. If you want to get into it. Start with snorkeling and work your way into it.
I'm low income, I work a fair few hours but on minimum wage. I'm still working on getting to a place where I can get in the water regularly but it certainly doesn't seem out of my reach; the main stumbling block at the moment is transport. I don't have a car, and a scuba set plus weights, fins, suit etc. is quite a lot to carry about without one. If only I lived in a town which had a sub-aqua club, I'm sure I would be able to find friends willing to help run my gear to the boat from time to time, or beg a bit of space in the club house to stow the heavy bits. Unfortunately, there is no diving club where I live. The main passtime here is binge drinking, and occasional cricket. Neither of which, if I'm honest, I find particularly stimulating. Ah well! At least I can snorkel...
Great show James and Karina! You are leading the way for other dive channels and media platforms to support the sport.
Please do more.
I work out of a couple of shops here in Maryland that could use this kind of PR.
It's helpful to see what's involved in a dive business, and I was impressed with the attitude and philosophy
of this shop.
I´m only one minute into the film, but I already wanted to state that I love this kind of material.

Would love to see more of this as a series as well. Great video!
To be honest I wouldn’t mind seeing a series of DIVE SHOP REVIEW
I just got my XTX50 regulator set from then! Awesome shop! They really helped me out getting everything I needed.
New spot on my list, thanks James
This is great! My dive buddy recently retired to Tampa. I've shared this video with him, so he can check out Adventure Outfitters.
Awesome video James and huge thanks! I’ve heard so many times “there’s no diving near Tampa” and it really disappointed me as I’m hoping to spend a lot more time there. I’ll definitely be going straight to this dive center!!!

This is an excellent video about a topic I didn't know I was interested in. Keep up the great work producing diverse and engaging content!
That was an awesome film James! I thoroughly enjoyed watching that and glad you got to dive the Gulf. I grew up diving the Gulf off the Alabama and North Florida coast.
Great people, and dive shop.
Thanks for the review James. Looks like a great shop to do some dives with.

I taught there before moving to NV. They are a great shop and great group of instructors, you will be treated like family!
Great video. Sounds like a nice shop. I go to Florida often to visit family. I will have to definitely visit them when in area next time. Surprised that this was the only shop to reach out to you about the offer though.
Yes to Bonaire!!! Hit Red Slave for a couple old slave ship anchors 130 and 230 and Windjammer down around 200ft. Perfect open water dive, right? 😁
Great video! We’re in Auburn, Alabama so the gulf is our obvious go to location. Will keep these folks for future dives! Thanks for the content
Great video showing a nice shop.
Really good of you to support other shops in this time. Also really interesting.
Moving to that area soon and wondering how the diving will be in the gulf. Can't wait to get there now. Thanks
Nice! Scuba Diving in my area is still restricted and that is why binge watching your channel

That looks fun!
Great Video. Great to see passionate people

This is a great idea for a video. I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
Looks like Airplane Barge, and the vis isn't bad for summer.
Nice and educational
Great video of a great looking dive shop!! Makes me want to go to Florida!
I love the new intro! I used to have to click foreword to 1:30.
Thought that was great mate ... Thank You !!!
Great video James supporting local dive centres!

For an alternate, check out Narcosis SCUBA Shop in Tarpon Springs. No affiliation, but it's a great group of people.
Loving this channel. Its skills sharpening, entertaining, and insightful. Keep it up. I'm Miami based and would be cool to go diving with you guys.
I love this channel
Thanks for your support! Dive safe.
Great to see you in the water James :-)
I dont mind long videos we got plenty of time on our hands I hope I can go there one day was at Ponce de Leon a couple of weeks ago
Did you dive the Blackthorn? Also, would love to see a video about Dive Pirates; they do adaptive dive training for people with serious injuries, para and quadraplegia.
I work at Adventure Outfitters we do adaptive dive training as well.

James! I rocked you in my last video! Don't copyright me!
Also, sailfish scuba would definitely have you. I've worked with them a few times
Looks like a great shop to me. Unfortunately I’m stuck in Germany so I can’t come and visit. Love your wife’s mask btw 😄 how did she do that to her nose pocket?
Thought you meant Persian.

Diving is made to keep lower income people out. Glad I can afford to
