Sunnyside Fire Department's Brush 72 - placed in service for 2020 fire season

This is the Sunnyside Fire Department's first inhouse conversion of a surplus M1078 LMTV into Type V wildland engine for use across the PNW. The project, including 17 sets of new wildland turnout turnout gear was funded through grants from the WA Department of Natural Resources and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation in addition to matching funds and in kind participation and services of taxpayers and community members of the City of Sunnyside.

What is the size of the water tank on this truck?

500.. if we build another it will be 750.. we took one of the sub frame rails out but even with that we found out that the military underates the GVW many times below what the truck can safely carry..
