this is my favorite ride at the Strawberry Festival. i rode it 3 times last year (it was the SeaDragon but they are the same thing). the first time i rode this i was only 9 and my nephew was 7 and we were both at the top with my sister, he was crying because we had that feeling we were going to fall out the seat since we were so small. i have never rode at the top again but tonight i am going to ride at the top after about 4/5 years!
I rode this in my towns fair and DO NOT sit close to the back. I sat as close to the middle and SLOWLY made my way back until I felt scared. My friend, her little sister, and her mom sat all the way back and my friend said that she felt like she was gonna fall out.
Molly xx its fun when you feel that. Its physically impossible to fall out, unless an error locking the belts occur, but then youd fall out too in the middle, but its unlikely. Its built to feel like youre gonna fall out..
I hope they do not call them experts in setting that ride up. They did a large amount of things that were dangerous to the ride. They need to be taught over again.
delano62 Chance also still makes the classic Zipper as well I think. The Zipper is super acary to ride lol I rode it twice in a row and that was enough for me lol. That ride is super intense lol
For around 10 years I worked for a carnival company based out of Ohio. Pharaoh's fury (the boat) was one of the biggest and most labor intense rides for both set up and tear down. Me and our crew can complete our set up from start to finish in 3 hours and the ride also takes 3 hours start to finish for tear down.
Come on man that's a little Sea Ray and see you put a giant wheel together a ground mile one all the top of loose those that will ride let me know when you guys want to come and play with the big boys
When choosing to watch "set-up" videos, I first skip to the end to see if the ride is shown in finished form, operating. If not, I skip the video. I skipped this one.

This is made by Chance Rides. And I think Chance still makes this.
+EpicEverythingDude75 Correct on both.
delano62 Chance also still makes the classic Zipper as well I think. The Zipper is super acary to ride lol I rode it twice in a row and that was enough for me lol. That ride is super intense lol
+EpicEverythingDude75 The Zipper is now being offered, with open face cages, and an over the shoulder bar style restraint.
delano62 OMG open face cages. Should make it more intense of a ride :-D
